Almost Human

I haven't seen this series jet but it is on my radar for it having androids and thus potential for strong female ones.

The upcoming episode (#9) certainly caused a beep on the radar, cause it's about an escaped female android if I understood the description correctly.

The female android in question is played by none other than Gina Carano! So says IMDB, with pics of her in action!

Kennex tells Dorian the history of the decommissioned fem-bot, the XRN, a dangerous DRN that operates more like a soldier than a cop.

The episode had some decent moments. Just the fight scene between the heroes and the XRN, no other stuff.

A little fan service is always appreciated

I've watched all the episodes so far and besides the above discussed episode there is no female action in it. Although there is plenty of room for it as the series also offers sexbots, cyborgs and genetically engineered people (the cute detective is one of them).

To bad they didn't show more of the XRN, because the lead male android (similar generation model) has at one point flipped a van so they are plenty strong.

Very promising scifi series, hope it lives longer then a single season.
