Actress Arden Cho plays anew character on Teen Wolf this season Called Kira.
She first appeared in a Januray episode. She has multiple powers of mystical origin. Something from out of Japanese mythology.
Her powers seem to be evolving over the course of a few episodes. In last night's episode she displayed energy absorbsion, super speed and superstrength, plus remarkable fighting skills.
She is clearly ment to be a hero and is getting closer and closer to the show's main character, heroic werewolf Scott Mcall.
In last night's episode she did performed more superhuman feats that the last to good female werewolves combined in all their appearances.

Kira's development over the last few episodes was nice. She started out shy and introverted - mostly because her only "power" was a strange glow around her on pictures (and Wolf-vision). Then came absorbing electricity (something that's very effective against werewolves) and in this episode she finally showed enhanced physical abilities. First by easily taking the lead during a run - and she clearly enjoys doing that - and later by kicking some Oni ass. Which is saying something given that said Oni give the werewolves a run for their money in general, not to mention they tried to defend HER from said Oni before. If only the Oni would have been more faithful to the mythology where they are giant ogres with clubs instead of masked swordsmen, then this asskicking would have been even more fun.
Speaking of Japanese mythology: Kira and her mother are Kitsune, shapeshifting fox spirits that are usually tricksters. They are usually portrayed with multiple tails (up to nine). The (apparent) big bad right now seems to be an evil kitsune that possessed a certain character and wants both other Kitsune dead (not to mention he plays the cast like a fiddle which is usual for a big bad in this series). Anyway I just hope she's not killed off between seasons like Erika was, especially since Kira makes a much better love interest for the main character like the last one.
