If you watched Season 1 of Powers (or read the series), you'll know that Callista acquired the powers of the original Retro Girl. Now in Season 2, it looks like she takes up the mantle of being the all-new Retro Girl -- along with a more updated (and traditional) costume. Here is the latest promo pic of her:
It's a cool transformation to see her as the new Retro Girl to say the least. Cooler still is when you think about the transformation itself. For those of you that might be unaware, the actress who plays Callista/Retro Girl is Olesya Rulin. If you think you've seen her before, you're probably right. Just probably not where you thought you saw her:

I loved "Powers" and am looking forward to season 2. Alas, there was no actual transformation scene from Calista to Retro Girl from what I recall. She just took off from the roof of a building at the end of season 1 I think.

This is better then anything from Season 1 i saw-still not *great* but getting more of the idea from the show they where going. this could be intresting. it certainly the closet to R rated superhero series where going to see for awhile.

Came here to say this too. This is how I watched Season 1.
Will probably wait and see if this is how I can watch season 2 as well (or some other method), unless people tell me that it's fantastic and I have to see it right away.

Thanks for sharing that amazing clip. Calista looks great as the new Retro Girl!
I did chuckle slightly when she levitates off the patio - but the low budget is part of the show's charm for me.

The first levitation scene is absolutely lovely though, great, smooth shot of her rising and floating down. Costume looks great too - lovely cape, and good boots, gloves. Looking forward to seeing more of this in action!
