Cloak and Dagger coming to Freeform!

Marvel's Cloak and Dagger is going to the Disney owned Freeform ( formly ABC Family) as a live action series. Straight to series, no pilot!

Years ago , when Freeform was still called ABC Family. it was optioned asa series, but never made it to shooting. You have to wonder, if the success of a certain show about a girl of steel has something to do with this?

Cloak and Dagger was a ground breaking comic years ago.

Basing a whole series on an interaccial romance?
A little late out of the gate.
Be hard pressed to find a comic book series that does not have an interracial romance.

BTW I am still rooting for Barry and Iris on Flash to work it out in the End.

Deadline Hollywood report that actor Aubrey Joseph has been cast as Cloak and Olivia Holt has been cast ass Dagger. It's been rumored that production for the series will start next month in New Orleans.
