I heartily recommend Tucker and Dale vs Evil. Not really SWM recommendation but it's hilarious and plays off horror movie tropes.
Those shots of Crimson fox look like they'll be fantastic with CGI.

Granted i am bassing this on a total of one picture but if the show is about Vanessa Hudgins as a kind of lois Lane Like Figure deeply in love or at least Fangirlism for Crimson...that could be cute. Almost especially if the gag is that she doesn't return it has no idea she exists.

I think, based on the show descriptions I've seen, it's the opposite. Vanessa's character I think speaks up and becomes an advocate AGAINST the superheroes based on this event, making her admired by the non-super powered community.

Given this is a comedy if both are true, that could be funnier.

Like the very comicbook art style going-the primary colors the shapes-visually this looks i think what supergirl is going for but doesn't quite hit. its bright and cheery and happy looking and i can respect that Like that the special effects here do feel very much like they did them in Flash.
Vanessa Hudgins is one of those actresses who isn't necessairly the greates,t or even the most attractive...but there is something about her smile that makes a joke work. Its just so innocent and small, that it kinda works for the material. I kinda like actually that shes not a big and powerful-the kinda devious humor kinda works for it.
Alan Tuduyk is a lot of fun in stuff, and has a great aura of a guy who is this big operatic villian or hero..but not. Kate Minnuchi is a fun actress as well though we don't see real anything from her
That said...this humor feels a bit Mid 80s Marvel-a little to self aware-got a lot of the jokes, but i am not exactly patting on myself on the back for getting them. But its cute. and that like i said counts for a lot.
And i am still holding to my prediction that the twist of the show involves Vanessa hudgins and Crimson Fox

I love comic book shows that don't take themselves to seriously.
The jabs at the recent doom and gloom DC movies were very well received by me.
The show doesn't stand a chance.
It's on the wrong network in a premo timespot.
I am pretty sure i will enjoy every episode and that will be it.
Crimson Fox is a FOX!
