A nice perspective: the original actors could be parents for the current actors

They were TV’s super-powered female prime-time legends of the ‘70s.

From 1976 to 1979, Lindsay Wagner portrayed the cybernetic Jaime Sommers in The Bionic Woman initially on ABC then NBC in its third season, while Lynda Carter played the Amazonian Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in Wonder Woman first seen on ABC then CBS in its third year.

In 2016, The Bionic Woman screens on COZI-TV, and Wonder Woman airs on ME-TV, as both shows celebrate their benchmark 40th Anniversary.

She literally jumped onto the screen, and dazzled us with her smile and style.

Her name is Lynda Carter, and on November 7, 1975, this former Miss U.S.A. debuted as Diana Prince in the TV-movie, The New, Original Wonder Woman.

This was the second take on the comic book character that was first brought to the small screen the previous year in a failed contemporary take on the concept which featured Cathy Lee Crosby as a blond Wonder Woman in a modern world, alongside Kaz Garas as love-interest Steve Trevor, and Ricardo Montalban (Kahn from the original and future Star Trek, and soon-to-be Mr. Roark from Fantasy Island) as the main villain.

Thought of an even nicer twist / perspective. Have Lynda's daughter play the lead as Wonder Woman! Jessica Altman is 25 or 26 and is just as stunning as her mum!

An offtopic reply shows Lynda and daughter in singing duet. Lynda is somewhat superhuman for a 66 yr old! Daughter went to law school instead of acting and may have paper superpowers.
Some forums comment the nice photo
Ashley Tesoro though, not Lynda Carter's daughter.

Here's an item from The New York Times, with Lynda Carter taking on the critics who have bad-mouthed Wonder Woman.

Do any of the nay-sayers remember that Gloria Steinem featured WW on the cover of the first issue of Ms. in 1972? She made a return cover appearance for the 40th Anniversary issue in 2012.
