Flash: Failure is an Orphan (Massive Spoiler!)

Flash is able to appeal to Cicada's Fatherly instincts and talk him down.
Team Flash administers the Cure to him as a new, more Bad ass Cicada appears.


New Cicada tears through Star Labs and easily defeats all the Heroes.
Old Cicada is removed from Star Labs by New Cicada who it turns out is his niece.
Now a full grown woman.
 

I gotta say I didn't see that coming.
I thought it was Thawn back from the future.

As usual the CW provides little to no promotional material for an episode please excuse the screen grabs.

It's nice they didn't throw Eobard in as the other Cicada. Grace is a natural fit. I'm looking forward to see where they go with this

This was actually shown a few episodes back.  The "Inception" style one, where Flash, XS and Iris go into Grace's (young grace) mind.  You got to see "the other Cicada" there, but only the long blonde hair (though you could tell it was a woman).

So it wasn't much of a reveal for me tbh.

The scene with her at the end of this episode was pretty cool though
