First 3 episodes are out, thoughts ?

For me, it's still an enjoyable show - plenty of violence, dark humor, and pokes fun at both sides of the culture wars. Maeve has been MIA though, to the extent that unless she does something dramatic in the remainder of the season, I can't see why she is a promoted character/cast member.

Didn't mind Charlize Theron's brief guest appearance at the start of the first episode though...

For most of the comic, Maeve spent the entire time drunk as a way to deal with the massive amount of death and destruction that she and the Seven caused when trying to stop the 9/11 attacks. She also acts as a living example of what Starlight will become if she stays with the Seven. I do like how the show seems to be trying to give Maeve a bit more but suspect that more involvement from her is coming as Homelander continues to go off the deep end.
