Despite the CGI looking like absolute shit, I'm pleasantly surprised they made her transformed version ultra hot like the early comics, instead of the monstrosity of the new comics. Still not really interested in these Marvel shows but at least we might get some hot scenes out of this. Still think the actress is not appropriate for the role looks wise but the only parts that matter she is covered in CGI anyways

That actually looks pretty good imo :)

They def seem to be taking cues from Byrnes run in the 80s (if i remember right) with the more comedic angle.  And ofc, the sexy She-Hulk, as she should be :)  Good choice as that is arguably the best She-Hulk run imo :)

CGI did look a little off, but they have a few months left still to fix/polish that up a bit.

Anyway, looking forward to this :)

Peace.

That trailer looks better than I'd hoped. A sexy She Hulk? Making superheroines fun again. I'm stoked.

Think the CGI needs to be cleaned up in parts, but overall I think it looks fantastic.

So stoked. Hopefully they have an activation at SDCC. 10 years ago I never thought we would get this yet here we are.

As already written here, all for me started on the far 1994 with a She Hulk comic, and after 28 years here we are ...really big emotions for me...

If it's anything like the other MCU TV shows, you'll be able to meet She-Hulk at Avengers Campus in Disneyland during the time of the show as well.

I assume they won't be able to find a seven-foot beefcake for it but either way I am going to have to take some deep breaths before getting a pic with her hahah

CGI looks bad. Hopefully they clean that up by the time the show is released. Love the concept and am really looking forward to it.

I doubt they're gonna clean up anything on the CGI since the show launches in three weeks

The show airs in 3 months, not weeks. And they can work on the CGI up until the day it airs. Even after, if they had to. I read somewhere they were farming out the rendering to a bunch of different post-production companies to get it ready in time.

Yeah the show still has 3 months to go.  With the digital era, rendering on FX happens right up to the last day. (even after in the case of Cats, which got an FX "patch" after it had released in cinemas).

They have the time to do it.  From what I can tell, the modeling seems fine.  They need to improve the texturing and tweak the final output settings (simply put).

It can be done. The question is, will it.  Being Disney, I'm betting on it will (a female-led superhero show has a lot riding on it in this cultural climate. Not a good look if it isn't as good as the other shows).

Either way, I didn't find it distracting enough to not watch the show :)

Peace.

I’m just fascinated by peoples disdain for the CGI on the “phone scene” where she holds it up.  Tbh, I didn’t think it looked bad or stupid.

the jumping scene I thought looked bad but overall I didn’t think the cgi was awful as people are saying. Maybe I have lower standards?

The CGI especially for the face replacement does seem a bit ropey but yeah. There's three months to go.

Also, anyone else seen people complaining she's not big enough on Twitter while showing pics of FBBs? Felt very funny considering the kinds of conversations we've been having on forums like this for decades.

Also also amazing that in my bubbles, the consensus is she needs to be bigger. Imagining letting myself ten years ago know this would happen.

I'm not worried about the CGI, I got to try out a render system that can render a 4k frame to cinema-quality every 11 seconds, so there is time on their hand to get it sorted. Marvels render farm has over 100 of the units

This trailer is far superior to the one they led with.

The CGI looks quite a bit better in this (though some will always have that uncanny valley element).

Tone sounds like John Byrne's run was the major inspiration (as they mentioned it would be).  And tbh, looks like a lot of fun :)

Can't wait :)

Peace.

I’m on board with this trailer. Very John Byrne vibes to the trailer. I hope they didn’t put all the jokes in the trailer.

The CGI that's "not quite there yet" looks terrifyingly close to something out of "Shrek". Still, enough of this looks OK that what seems to be happening is that they rushed a few scenes to make the trailer, and they'll be better in the final product. I'm excited.
