"Who Wants to be a Superhero"

13 Jan 2006 14:40 #4148 by lfan
Somestimes I wish the lines of fantasy and reality were less blurred:

Nevertheless, could be humorous. Gotta applaud Stan Lee's imagination --almost 80 and still at it!! Whatever happened to "Hef's Superbunnies??" :P

Sounds interesting. I wonder if Mandi Steele is going to show up in her Tempest outfit?

Finally will start this month. Some of the final 11 are lame, but the more interesting tryout clips are on site. Also the episode where they narrow the field will probably really have some nice costumes.

If Mandi shows up, it would be over right then! It would be over before it starts. LOL

Of the 11, my vote is for Lemuria, with a close second and third Monkey Girl and Cell Phone Girl. Fat Momma would be a distant 11th (i.e. distant as in the distance across several gallaxy custers).

Funny thing is the local Fox channel morning news did a feature on one of the superheroes. The one called Ty'vecius (sp?).

Well, all the superheroines that were on the show are now gone with the exception of Fat Momma. Lemuria and Creature were sent off last night.

It's really disappointing because the winner is supposed to get their own movie on Sci Fi. Who's going to watch a movie about Fat Momma, Major Victory, or Feedback?

You hear that crashing in the distance. That's this show's ratings going downhill on a fast track.

I would TOTALLY watch Major Victory or Fat Momma; I just love their characters.

But yeah, bring back the babes :/

I would watch a Major Victory movie because he is the one contestant that has had fun with the role of playing a superhero for most of the show. His character would be fun to watch on the Saturday night punishment known as a Sci-Fi Channel original movie.

As for the babes, I liked Cell Phone Girl, Lemuria, and Monkey Woman. Perhaps there is a minute chance they can make cameo in the movie or somewhere else.

Okay, I will grudgingly admit that Major Victory has been the most entertaining of the superheroes. He does have the most fun with it. And I might watch a movie made about him just to see how he plays it.

But Feedback and Fat Momma? No way in hell!

Stan Lee is a senile old man, or is he trying to be PC, gee with Uma in Suoer-Ex with Anna Farris, and X-Men with Halle and others, I guess our PC world needs an obeese donut eating slob to have a movie. It's like Rosie O'Donnell as Wonder Woman, end of watching this crap.

I agree, I can NOT believe Lemuria got kicked off?
Who is going to watch a film with Feedback or Fat Momma?
Even cell phone girl was accceptable! At least she wore pantyhose!
We want WOMEN heroines!
WHEN is Hollywood EVER going to get it right?

This information is a few days old, but I'll post it for those who are interested and may be unaware.

Yes, there will be a Season 2 of Who Wants to be a Superhero?

I'm not sure if that is good news or not.

I mean, I liked the show, but when you have a final two of Fat Momma and Feedback, it sort of sours you. In fact, I never did care to find out who actually won.

I'll probably watch to see the hot superheroines (assuming there are some). But when they are gone, then so am I.
