Skye, I never heard of this series but I loooooooooooove what I seen so far from Jalilia. I'm a huge fan of teens becoming superwomen/goddesses and after finding an issue online, I like it. Sadly, I cannot tell you if the series is still ongoing because AKComicsUSA seem to have inaccurate date releases from dates on the Jalilia comics. I do believe so far, only #6 has been done in english, the release date on that, I do not know. But, this is a great superheroine indeed, thanks for the find!

After reading the Titans East Special from DC, I think Hawk now fits this criteria, she seems to have had a serious power boost in the strength department.

There are a few independant superheroines who have superstrength. One was a heroine from Texas who joined a group. I cannot recall her name but I do have the comic. I just have to find it to get her correct name. I'll get back to you on that one.
The one that I do recall is Karate Girl from Eros Comix.
You can check Mile High Comics website for more cover images from the comic series. The comic book itself is NSFW (as if I had to add that with a publisher that has that name).

Little Lotta was cool. I remember in one story, she wiped out an entire football team all by herself!
My entry is MoonGirl (1947-1949) EC Comics
She was far stronger than Superman could ever hope to be!
And she could fly and was indestructible!
