NEW Stormy Tempest: Fight for the Future!
I didnt't read all the reply above, because of my bad english.
So what can I say ?
...I find some interest in AC Comics movies. In what I've seen in the trailer or in the synopsis, I like the women, they are beautiful and sexy. Invulnerability... I like like it too !
But what I could understand in all what I've read is there is no feat of super strength.
However AC Comics got very good characters for that : I could read some word about MS VICTORY. I'm here to say that I wish you could make a movie featuring her. For my part, I'm looking for Super strong women showing their power in feat of strength action like car lifting etc... It's too rare on the web. We most see magical powers or demise. I prefer feat of strength.
So, what a little french fan could say ? Are you going to make such movie ? If this is the case, I subscribe immediately !
Thanks for you work.

To summarize...Our previous films have very few feats of strength and fail to appeal to the SWM crowd in general, but we are considering a series of "ubergirl" films for the future that may be more to your liking. Our next film (Stormy Tempest: Women of Tomorrow) will likely be the "origin" of this series and will feature lots of ubergirl special effects.
The question is: Will this approach prove popular and successful? Or will it crash and burn since there will be minimal "bondage" or "peril"? Based on the 4 pages of replies so far I can assume that it might be "popular"... though time will tell if it is "successful" and worth repeating.
Thanks for speaking up! All feedback is welcome!

There are over 80 FX shots completed for Lacey's scenes so far. Another dozen or so to go I think. Not counting Stormy's FX shots, which are already done. This may set a new record for most FX shots in a single release for us. Overkill is our middle name!
A couple of people have asked about a few specific powers, wanting to know if they are used in the film... here are your answers.

Nicola Rae is pretty successful as Stormy at this point and we have many more Stormy Tempest stories left to tell (we need to give Stormy her rocketbelt eventually).
How do you feel about our new actress Jennifer Triest as Yankee Girl? We're currently considering her for the role. She's very charming and has a good "pinup girl" innocence that would be a good fit for YG. We'd love to hear some outside opinions on this. Here's a quick clip of Jenn in action.

Now we are just finishing up the soundtrack and sound effects. The next images we post will be after the films release, which we hope will be later this week. It turns out that Lacey's final battle scene required 92 FX shots and there are 44 other FX shots throughout the rest of the film. 136 total. Insane!
If we can't push your ubergal buttons with this puppy, then we'll never be able to.
We usually post a blog entry about the films during the final rendering, so keep an eye out for that at www.accomics.com . Once that blog article appears, the film itself should be available at www.cultretro.com a few hours later.
Hope to see you there soon!

Great Caesar's Ghost! It's all-out war, mayhem and destruction! Stormy Tempest Season 2 continues with our most explosive episode EVER! Stormy Tempest (Nicola Rae) acclimates to the 21st century as she discovers a few of the modern era's simple pleasures. Meanwhile, her dreamscape avatar tries to heal from the Gorla Monk's mental assault by attempting to recover her lost power belt, resulting in a "climactic" revelation. And a twist of fate puts a 26th century alien weapon of mass destruction into the hands of Lacey Slater (Aliya Hayes) making her faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound! Don't miss this unparalleled display of super strength, invulnerability, speed, heat vision, flight and much more as Lacey takes out an army of evil Gorla Monks. This is easily our most spectacular battle sequence yet! This episode features over 130 visual FX shots and superheroine action unlike anything seen before!
Starring Nicola Rae, Aliya Hayes, Pierce Knightley, Ryan Miller, Cliff Weikal, Chris Casteel, Brenner Kaiser, Richard Shoner, and Andrew Stam. Script, editing and effects by JohnJG. Cinematography by Bill Black. Directed by Bill Black and JohnJG
The shots you see in the trailer are just the tip of the iceburg, representing less than 1/4 of the ubergirl shots in the film itself.
Thanks for lookin!
