What a deal...I'll send it right over, Fats. Given all the moolah we make on these stories, riches uncounted (just try to count it...you can't) it's a good investment for sure.

Where was said that the deadline was on Nov 15th? I'm pretty sure the news about that said 'by the end of november' which would be the 30th.

Then again I'm spending my time on continuing my other story instead of cooking something up for the workshop, so ... :whistle:

I've finally found a decent rythm to write my entry, I'm barely 2500 word in it, but it's coming together quite well. Unless we get some extra time, I might need some ultra-fast editing the next week. Who's up for the job?

Okay, I just submitted my entry, Prelude to Ultimate Crisis. There should be three chapters. fats, I sent it to you in email as well, just in case the submissions didn't go through.

Thank you so much to Anon for reading the draft and giving me some great feedback, especially on the second chapter. I don't know if I've fixed it, but I think it's much better for your advice and you inspired me to finish editing it.

I'm sorry I won't be able to return the favor. I'm travelling for sucky reasons (funeral) and I won't be back for over a week. I won't be able to check in on the site until the deadline for the workshop.

Were gonna extend the Workshop deadline to November 30th as per peoples' requests. Hopefully, this will give people myself included to clear things up.

Selfishly, I'm swamped with things before Thanksgiving with 15 family members staying with us and cannot dedicate time to my writing right now, unless it's a grocery list

I still plan to contribute and hope others still do too

Okay, I'm back and the deadline was extended! I'll re-read my story when I'm recovered from the jet lag and make sure I didn't mess anything up in my last-minute editing.

Question on submissions...my contest story is in PDF form at the moment.

Question is how to submit it so it will show up with all the other entries, which I presume are coming in via Submit Story.

Is there a way to do this or should I just paste the text into the Submit Story window? Or can I put an external link into the text area of Submit story so people can get the PDF via the link?

Don't want to cause anyone extra work, so am looking for the easiest way for the folks running the contest.

Sorry for the late reply but my access is limited right now. Regarding submissions, I'd prefer submissions to be consistent in that they are pasted into the submission forms. You can also email the text to us if you are having problems. Id like to keep all the stories categorized in the same workshop section and this would allow that...

... and it's already in the bank. Didn't something similar happen with the last workshop as well? I'm pretty sure there was an entry that could be read before the end of the deadline.

It's been taken down....I'm sorry and I'm out of town so my access is very limited right now. I dunno what happened Anon, but maybe Fats can share some light. In the meantime, EVERYONE has a one day reprieve as I will not post anything till Friday (Dec 2nd), as that's when I'll be back home. Sorry about the difficulties with this....

In terms of submissions, we have Anon's, G7's, Shadar's and mine....any others that we should be expecting? Last call.....

I'm putting the finishing touches to my story. It won't be a complete story, but I think I've reached an appropriate stopping place for the end of part one. I plan to submit it later tonight, but if not I'll definitely submit it tomorrow.
