I understood the topic to be about why RT changed their web site and removed a feature that had been there, I think, since the beginning.
Unfortunately, the reason they did has political aspect to it.
That's why politics entered the discussion.
Nothing more.
Peace.

Whatever happened to the good ol days of t&a big explosions and big guns....And mind dumbing nonsense. That's why my stories are so important right now....In that....You'll be dumber after reading them =)
I wouldn't say dumber, but rather "delightfully diverted." Very healthy. <grin>

BLACK SCORPION is on Amazon Prime right now.
I enjoyed every episode and am seriously thinking of a rewatch.
This time I'll fast forward through the repetitive car chases.

Bought, paid for and in Lock Step with the powers that be.
Grace Randolph, who has been featured here in her Beyond the Trailer videos and who relies heavily on Rotten Tomatoes for content analysis , has been strangely silent about this kerfluffle.
I think she has just cut them loose and moved on.

Google Hanoi Jane. I have no problem with people who protested the Vietnam war - but what she did was IMO above and beyond. Just my opinion of course - ymmv.

I would agree with this though I do use it as a place to check reviews and generally use audience score to gauge whether it's worth a drive or not for a movie I'm already inclined to see.
My 'trust' for the site wasn't overly high in the first place coupled with the fact that even the audience rating is not real - they throw out any ratings of 1 or less (maybe .5 - I forget) but that alone skews the data higher than it should be.
