Tbh, still looking forward to watching this at some point.

My only real critisism of the images shown so far is the Kingdom Come armor.  For some reason it does not look good on Gal Gadot.  Which is strange saying it, as she is a model. 

Something about the helmet just doesn't work for me.  It could just be a case of something working on paper, but not in film.

Just my thoughts.

I personally am not going to the movies anytime soon. I will wait for the DVD or streaming.

P.S.  Agree, great looking shot

No way I'm going near a theater until Covid is completely dead and gone... or I've had a high efficacy (>90%) vaccination. Based on what I'm seeing, August is likely to be even riskier than July. 

But I'm excited to see the movie and will happily pay the price of a couple of tickets plus popcorn/snacks to stream it early.

I am definitely going to see it in theatres. I will probably just wait for offbeat hours or travel to burb theatre to watch. I saw the news that regular theatres were opening up but not in my town - so I have to wait still.

I've heard that Cineplex is keeping folks distant. People can only show up 15mins prior to the start and you can only buy assigned seats. I can wear a mask for long periods without much discomfort because I wear them for 10 hour shifts at work for months - I'm used to it.

Worst case scenerio, I'll see it at the Drive in.

A negative review.  View with caution.  I enjoy Critical Drinker.  Similar thoughts.  I'll still see it even though I don't have HBOMax.

Maybe they can make enough from streaming to not go broke. I doubt theaters are going to provide much revenue this winter due to Covid. 

But next summer (or whenever everyone has been vaccinated) I expect the theater experience to be highly sought by the majority of the market for this movie.

That will cause havoc with the usual movie metrics, but could still generate serious coin for the studios.

Question is whether studios can adapt to a new hybrid model or if they will try to go back to the exact place they were pre-Covid.

I’m hoping the early exposure to streaming, coincident with theater, will be a lasting improvement due to Covid. I wasn’t personally a big theater person before Covid.

HBO Max has a free 7-Day trial currently.  I'm curious if they will still offer that as Christmas (and WW84's release nears).  Regardless, you can goto www.hbomax.com and sign up now.

That's what I'm doing. We already have HBO on DirecTV, so we can get MAX for free. Beyond the excellent shows that HBO already produces, it seems to be a place where a number of movies that have been frustrated with the temporary pause of theater experiences are releasing movies. I suspect that will continue for a while. 

Nice thing is that I can also carry that over to my AppleTV device without paying another fee, or so it appears.
