New interview with Katee Sackhoff on the Cort & Fatboy from March 26th. Nothing really new. The question of slow mo and sound effects was brought up but Katee said she does not know.

The NBC press release lists BW's principle cast. Katee Sackoff is listind on it. Is she now a regualer cast member, not a semi-regular cast member?

Right now she is a guest star but according to all interviews she's given it could be a recurring character...I'm thinking something like Callisto or The Cigarette Smoking Man.

Hard to tell what "more bad reviews" are meant in that context. Gotta think it has a good shot at airing just due to the fact they have so much invested in it -- expensive pilot, perhaps the most expensive (aside from Sarah Conner Chronicles) of the season.
Traditionally, pilots like that mean it usually gets aired but will be held on a very short leash if ratings/advertisers aren't good.
I'm still hopeful but obviously not a great report.....

I agree with Ifan. NBC has been talking about this show for weeks. It just wrapped principle photography just a week ago. How much footage did these "reviewers" see? Who are they? The finished piliot would have to be really awful for them not to pick it up. It's still in the post-production stage. What was so bad about it? NBC needs a strong high concept drama to follow Heroes. I don't think that time- travel drama can do it. They've invested so much time and money into it.

Well those two previous posts have cheered me up, being from the U.K. i'm not too sure how the pilot system works in the U.S. So i'll bow to your better knowledge. Gonna get drunk in a far better mood tonight, always a good thing

I still say the chance of it getting picked up is pretty high. Not 100%, very high. A big reason for it being picked up is Heroes. But, then again, NBC could pull an Aquaman. Remember Aquaman from last year? It all depends on what people at the very top of NBC's food chain( Kevin Reilly) think this May 14th. Reilly, NBC's president in charge of programming is a gambling man. Last yearm he gambled on Heroes and won big time. If he likes BW, it will get picked up. If that report is spot-on, the "reviewers"
may only be low-level NBC ex's.
For you UK guys, has any of Michelle's programs ever been broadcast in HD? Bionic Woman ( Michelle Ryan) in HD sounds like fun.

Ah Michelle Ryan running faster than a car, twisting metal like cardboard, and leaping tall buildings in a single bound, all in HD. That is some prospect to look forward to. I do have one question though, as the subject has been mentioned (by me admittedly) if the show isn't picked up does the pilot get shown anywhere, or is it left on a shelf to rot?

If BW is not picked up, the piliot could end up on the internet( without NBC's permision) or maybe it might air on SciFi. I think the people giving the bad reviews are not NBC staff but tv industry experts who follow the tv industry for a living.

On IMDB's Bionic Woman 2007 page actress Emma Lahana is listed as playing Sally Crane. Who's Sally Crane? Lahana is from New Zealand and was on the most recent Power Rangers series. She's around Michelle Ryan's age. A friend of Jamie Sommers? Is IMDB wrong again like when they listed Bevin Prince as the Bionic Woman?
