The Sister: Alternate Version

Author’s Note: Thank you to Luchodemeyer for the idea behind this story. It’s been out for a while, including a version with a very different ending on SWM. However, none of the previous versions jive completely with the prequel that I wrote, Little Sister. That’s what I get for writing a prequel without re-reading the original. :) It’s a bad habit of mine. I almost never read stories that I’ve written once I’m done with them, even when I probably should. Anyway, since I like the prequel story far better, I opted to change the original to match the prequel rather than the other way around. If you’ve read The Sister with the Lucho ending on hikerangel.com, DeviantArt, or writing.com, this version is very similar. I just fixed a few details to match the prequel and made a few minor enhancements.

"I love you," said Marc.

"You know I can't say that back until after you meet my sister, Marc! I've told you a million times!" said Megan, hitting Marc with a pillow.

"I know that you're all worried about her, but nothing your sister can do is going to change how I feel about you," said Marc, gazing into Megan's pretty green eyes.

"My boyfriends always says that… and then they meet Maria," said Megan somberly, eyes dropping to the floor with the second half of her statement.

"Meg, why are you so worried," Marc asked with concern, reaching out to lift her chin. Megan's eyes flicked up to meet his as he watched her beautiful face with concern.

"Marc, if I tell you something, do you promise not to tell anyone?" Megan asked, so sincere that it was making Marc both nervous and curious.

"Of course I promise. If you want me to keep something in confidence, I will never tell a soul," he said. He meant it.

"Swear it. Swear it on everything you love," Megan insisted.

"Okay, okay, I swear it! Now what is it that's so secret?" Marc said, beyond curious now.

Megan seemed to deliberate for a moment, then she let out a breath. "Okay. My sister Maria is Supergirl."

Megan watched Marc closely, gauging his reaction. Marc looked stunned for a moment, then broke into raucous laughter. "You had me going there for a minute. You seemed so serious! That was a good one…"

When Megan continued to stare at him, serious and unsmiling, Marc's laughter began to subside until it finally stopped. "Wait! Are you serious?" he asked, now beginning to wonder.

"I'm serious," Megan said, not a hint of amusement on her stoic face.

Marc gulped. She really was serious!

"You can't tell her I told you," Megan told him in a warning voice. "My parents either."

Marc's mind was spinning.

"Are your parents… superpowered?" Marc asked, now very worried about Megan's father's reaction if he didn't like the young man dating his daughter.

"Oh no, just Maria," said Megan.

"How does that, you know, work?" asked Marc, asking before he could think about the implications of his questions.

"Well, there was this guy Jake that I…" Megan started, then seemed to think better of it. "It's a long story."

"So, you don't want to talk about it," said Marc. He knew her well enough to read her pained expression.

"Correct," Megan replied, letting out a breath and looking relieved.

"Gotcha." Mark still looked skeptical, far from sure that he believed what Megan was telling him.

"Again, though, you are not going to say anything to either my parents or my sister about this when I bring you home for Christmas, right?" asked Megan.

Marc knew it wasn't a question--it was a statement.

"Got it, Meg."

Megan gave him her best ‘I'm serious, Marc’ look, then let it drop.

On Saturday, Marc pulled up in front of Megan's apartment. He went in and helped carry her bags to the car.

"Remember, don't mention that you went to WSU in front of Dad. He's a die-hard Husky fan," said Megan, once they began driving.

"So are you!" Marc replied.

"Yeah, but you already know that!" she said, pinching Marc's cheek.

"And make sure you compliment mom's Christmas decorations, even if you think they're hideous," she continued. "Mom takes great pride in her home decorating skills. She'll love you forever if you compliment them."

"Anything else I should keep in mind?" asked Marc.

"Yeah, don't fall for my sister, dumbass," said Megan, looking far from relaxed.

Marc laughed.

"Even if your sister really is Supergirl, it's not like I'm just going to see her and go gaga or something. I don't know why you're so worried!"

Megan didn't say anything more. She just looked worried. Really worried.

The pair pulled up in Megan's parents driveway, and Marc hopped out and popped the trunk, pulling out his and Megan's bags.

They walked up to the door, and Megan rang the doorbell. When the door opened, a large, fit, middle-aged man stood there.

"Megan, hun, I'm so glad you're home," he hugged her tightly.

"Dad, I'd like you to meet, Marc, my boyfriend," Megan told him when he released her.

Megan's father stepped out to the porch and offered a large, calloused hand. Marc set down one of the duffles and gripped the older man's hand. He had a strong grip.

"It's nice to meet you, sir. Meg's told me so much about you," Marc said with a nervous smile.

"Did you watch the Husky game the other day?"

"Well, actually, I'm a Coug…" Marc said before realizing his mistake. He glanced at Megan. She was glaring at him. Shit!

"A Coug! Megan!? You're dating a Coug!" said Megan's father in disbelief.

"Well, sir, I…" Marc stumbled over his words, not sure how to rectify this situation.

Megan's father slapped him hard on the back.

"I'm just giving you a hard time, son. I'll forgive you for being a Coug just this once." He smiled and turned to go back into the house, motioning for Megan and Marc to come inside.

Marc let out his breath in relief. He risked another glance over to Megan. She smacked him with a palm to the back of his head.

"I tell you to avoid one frickin' thing with dad, and what do you do?" Megan whispered emphatically. "Exactly that! You're such a dufus sometimes, Marc!"

Marc could live with being a dufus as long as things went well with Megan's folks. So far, his big faux pas hadn't done any permanent damage. Thank God!

He took off his shoes as he walked in--at least he had that part right!

Megan's mother came up to him and gave him a hug.

"It's so nice to finally meet you, Marc! Megan has been so happy these last few months…" she winked at him and smiled.

There was something he was supposed to say to Megan's mom. What was it again? Marc couldn't remember! Shit! He was completely blowing this meet-the-parents moment! Marc was evidently feeling the pressure more than he had anticipated.

Marc looked over to Megan, and she motioned her eyes toward the Christmas decorations. Marc still didn't get it. He knew he didn't get it, but unfortunately that didn't really do him much good. He shrugged and gave a helpless look to Megan.

Megan mouthed the word "compliment" and motioned her eyes to the decorations again. Marc finally got it!

"I love what you've done with the place, Mrs. Matthews. The decor is phenomenal!" Marc said.

"Oh, thank you, Marc. I'm so glad you noticed! I make them myself. See I'm a big arts and crafts fanatic, and I…" Mrs. Matthews launched into a gushing explanation of how she created each and every decoration in the house.

As she was speaking, Marc looked back to Megan, who promptly rolled her eyes.

As Mrs. Matthews' monologue wound down and Marc's cheeks and neck were growing tired from smiling and nodding, Mr. Matthews came over to Marc and sat him down on the couch. He turned on the TV to the USC Oregon game.

"Well, would you look at that? If there's one thing that a Coug and a Husky can agree on, it's that we want Oregon to lose!" Mr. Matthews laughed. Marc laughed along with him, beginning to relax.

He watched the game with Megan's dad. The two were enjoying themselves thoroughly, since the Ducks were losing at halftime. Megan had decided to freshen up after their trip and was showering. Mrs. Matthews was preparing dinner in the kitchen.

The doorbell rang, and Mr. Matthews jumped up instantly.

"That must be Maria!" he said, heading toward the door.

Marc watched the older man open the door. Slim, toned arms snaked around him. Perfectly manicured nails graced long slender fingers as they patted his back. Luxuriant, platinum-blond hair splashed against his shoulder.

Mr. Matthews turned to the side, putting his arm around the figure just outside. He guided her in, and time seemed to slow.

She was an angel. An insanely sexy, perfect angel.

She shook out her thick waves of hair, smiling and laughing as she walked in. Marc's eyes were glued to her lush, ruby lips. If he could just kiss them once, his life would be complete. Somehow, he managed to move his eyes to hers. They were huge and brilliant, their color an almost hypnotic sapphire blue. High arching eyebrows, regal cheekbones, and a retroussé nose completed her perfect face. There was no other way to describe it. It was sublime.

A moment earlier, Marc may have even called a lesser beauty perfect. Maria's face redefined perfection.

His heart began to race as his gaze lowered to along her sculpted arms and moved outward to the heavenly hemispheres of her breasts. Prodigious and perky, they were dramatic proof that those contradictory attributes could coexist as they strained the fabric of her tight sweater.

Marc's mouth began to water as he noticed her short-hemmed sweater pull up from her leggings, revealing a sliver of tight, ridged abdomen.

Marc licked his lips as Maria's voluptuous ass came into view, stretching her black leggings into a mind-bendingly exquisite curve. His gaze followed the flow of its contours to the luxuriously shapely length of her interminable legs.

Marc couldn't believe how heartbreakingly sexy this girl was. It was as if the sexiest attributes of the sexiest women in the world were amped up a few levels, then packed into a single matchless, feminine package.

Maria noticed him on the couch, pants bulging, and gave him a long-lashed wink. He nearly came right then.

She giggled. The sound reminded him of a bubbling brook on a summer day. Her voice was gorgeous, alluring. It was every bit as sexy as the rest of her.

Marc's heart skipped a beat.

As Maria passed through the living room in front of him on her way to greet her mother, Marc's eyes couldn't help but follow her. As she passed to the other room, his eyes bounced back to something else they had noticed peripherally as they traced every movement of Maria's erotically-shaped profile.

It was Megan.

She looked pissed.

***

Megan hustled Marc off to her room and closed the door.

“Marc, how could you?” said Megan, her voice betraying her hurt.

“What? I didn’t do anything!” replied Marc.

“I saw how you were looking at her. This is exactly what I was worried about! What you told me wouldn’t happen! You told me you loved me!” said Megan, tears beginning to well in her eyes.

“Geez, Meg! Your sister walks into the room – the same sister you told me is an alien Supergirl – and you’re shocked that I’m looking at her?!” replied Marc in exasperation.

“It’s just how you were looking at her!” said Megan, her lower lip now trembling. A tear rolled down her cheek. “I thought you were different, but you're just like Jake.”

Marc didn't know who Jake was, but he understood what she meant. He was stung by her words, but more so by the emotion behind them. It was true, he had been attracted to Maria. What guy wouldn’t be? She was beautiful, flawless, like a work of art. But Megan was his girlfriend. He couldn’t believe that she was acting like this just from one little look!

He tried to put himself in her shoes. Clearly, Megan had an inferiority complex when it came to her sister. Given Megan’s reaction to his professions of love, this Jake guy must have fallen head-over-heels in love – or at least infatuation – with Maria when he met her. She appeared to have some sort of PTSD about it. What could he say that would set her mind at ease?

Marc took Megan’s hand and kissed it.

“Megan, I still love you. Don’t worry. Maria isn’t going to take me from you.”

Megan looked visibly relieved, though still uncertain. Apparently, Marc had said the right thing. She wiped away her tears.

“Promise?” she asked, still unsure.

“Promise.”

She hugged him, squeezing tightly as if she never wanted to let him go.

When she released the hug – after a long moment – Marc kissed her. She melted into him, clinging to him, not wanting to let him out of her grasp.

After the moment of reconciliation, the two came out of the room to the kitchen.

Maria leaned over the table while her mother showed the girl her latest Christmas craft project. Marc’s eyes fixated, as if magnetically pulled, on Maria’s perfect ass, displayed marvelously in her tight, black leggings.

Her sweater pulled away from her stomach due to her forward lean, as well, and Marc was able to get a better look at the girl’s insanely carved abs. Her body was just spectacular. His mind boggled at just how breathtaking she really was. Every glimpse, every peek at her delectable form seemed to dip into another wealth of sumptuous, ravishing perfection.

He tried to look away, knowing Megan was just in front of him, bound to turn to see him at any minute.

He couldn’t.

She was just too gorgeous.

He couldn’t help himself. His eyes admired the way her firm breasts filled her sweater, the way her long, sexy legs flowed downward. How was it possible for anyone to be so beautiful?

Marc heard Megan’s father speak from the living room just as Megan turned around. It disrupted his visual exploration of Maria’s exquisite body just enough for him to tear his gaze from her for a second to glance toward the other room.

“Marc, second half’s starting…” the large man called.

“Okay, be right there.”

Marc looked to Megan quickly. She didn’t seem to notice his visual betrayal this time. Thank God! He didn’t dare look back over to Maria! He might not be able to look away again from the matchless beauty. He gave Megan a hesitant smile as he walked to the other, secretly wishing for just a moment more to gaze on Maria’s heavenly curves.

Marc went back to the living room to watch football with Megan’s dad.

***

When the game had finished, Marc finished chatting with Mr. Matthews – that part of Christmas weekend was going well, at least, as the man seemed to be warming to him – and went to go find Megan.

He looked in the kitchen, hopeful that Maria might be there, but she wasn’t. Disappointed, he went through the dining room toward Megan’s bedroom, deciding to check that next.

He opened the door. Megan wasn’t there. Maria was.

She was in her Supergirl costume this time, facing away from Marc. Her red cape flowed down to her firm, rounded hips that were swaying sensuously as she sang the words to the Billie Eilish song that was playing with a dulcet voice.

“Bad, bad news

One of us is gonna lose

I'm the powder, you're the fuse

Just add some friction”

She turned slowly his way as she undulated slowly, erotically to the music until she was facing Marc. Her scarlet lips mouthed the rest of the words to the song as Marc stared at her provocative display.

“You are my strange addiction

My doctors can't explain

My symptoms or my pain

But you are my strange addiction”

Maria’s blue and red-clad form left no trace of her flawless form to the imagination. The strange fabric clung to every contour of her outrageously sexy body. Each slim, defined muscle of her arms was visible, the consummate fusion of fitness and femininity. Perfect nipples tented the material of her S emblem outward from the swells of her full, succulent breasts. The lines and crevices of her ridiculously ripped abs clenched and released through the clingy uniform as her unbelievably gorgeous body undulated toward him.

Marc gulped, frozen with desire, overcome with an inescapable hunger for the sumptuous feast of flawless flesh that swayed before him.

Maria’s perfect, red-skirted hips rolled toward him until he felt the electric tingle of her bare, sinuous legs snaking around his. Her hips slowly pressed into his. Her breasts touched his chest, the contact launching fireworks of rapture through his body. Her arms slithered up his back, and her body lead his in a sultry dance.

Her lips closed the distance to his until he could almost taste them, but they stopped just short. As the whispered promise of untold pleasure hovered before his lips, she smiled beatifically.

The song ended, and she pulled away, leaving him standing there, hopelessly aroused and unfulfilled.

Marc heard Megan’s voice behind him.

“Maria? You’re showing him? That you’re Supergirl?”

“He already knows.”

“How do you…?” said Megan, incredulous.

Maria pointed to her ear, which was gorgeous. Ear? Gorgeous? He had never even thought about the aesthetic qualities of ears before, but somehow even that part of her had been crafted in sensual perfection.

“Super-hearing, remember? I couldn’t help but overhear your conversation in the bedroom,” said Maria.

“And by the way, please address me as Supergirl when I’m in costume. Not Maria. We’ve talked about this. No one, not even my family, may call me by my human name when I’m in the reds and blues. You don't want me to put on the black costume, do you…?”

Black costume? Marc wasn't sure what that meant, but it didn't matter. He was relieved. Clearly, Megan hadn’t seen them dancing together, or this wouldn’t be the conversation.

“Dinner’s ready…” came Mrs. Matthew’s voice from the kitchen. The three left Megan’s room and headed for dinner.

Marc sat between the two sisters. Except that Maria didn’t seem to actually be sitting. She was hovering just over her chair. Mark tore his gaze from her, trying to make it look like a passing glance. It was so difficult not to look at that girl! He smiled at Megan, who, luckily, didn’t seem to notice his wandering eye.

As he filled his plate and passed the serving tray to Megan, he felt something. It was silky and soft, and it was rubbing against his leg. On Maria’s side.

He glanced under the table. She was rubbing a long, toned leg against his. His eyes shot to her face. She was turned toward her father, holding a conversation, acting as if nothing was happening.

Marc looked toward Megan. She was saying something to him, but he couldn’t focus on what it was. All he could think of was that shapely, sexy calf sending slithers of ecstasy through his rapidly beating heart. He swallowed and doubled down on his efforts to listen to Megan, but it was no use. The sensations of Maria’s outrageous, nubile body dominated every ounce of his mind.

Suddenly, the dining room table shook, and they heard a crash from the front yard. It sounded as if a cement truck had been dropped from the sky in front of the house. All of them turned to the front of the house as a voice boomed out.

“Supergirl. Face me if you dare!” it said.

Maria rolled her eyes.

“Supervillains. Pfft. They can never be creative with the taunts. Always the same. Every. Single. Time!” she rose from the table then was suddenly rocketing through the living room window with a splash of shattered glass.

The rest of the family staggered from the table in haste to see what was happening. They stood in the entry to the other room, watching in awe at the sight before them.

Maria was fighting a gigantic black-furred beast that must have been ten feet tall. It looked like some sort of massive werewolf standing on its hind legs. The monster swung its fist at her, massive muscles rippling with power. As its punch was about to land, Maria grabbed its huge, muscled wrist with one hand. Her hand looked comically small in comparison to its meaty paw, but the huge fist stopped cold.

Maria flew around the thing, still gripping its massive hand, overpowering it with ease, pulling the arm back until its shoulder popped and crackled. The beast howled in pain and tried to turn and swipe at her with its other bulging arm.

Marc watched, unable to comprehend the voluptuous girl’s spectacular strength as she manhandled this creature with an almost casual ease. Those perfect, deliciously feminine muscles appeared as hard as steel, the power generated within distorting the air around them like a ripples of heat from desert blacktop.

With a searing burst of fire from her eyes, she burned a line right through the beast’s other bicep. The other half of its arm dropped to the ground.

This time, the beast didn’t howl. It simply stared at its missing arm in disbelief. Its eyes rose to Maria’s with a confused look on his face.

Maria, however, was already in the air, flying toward the beast. She skimmed the ground, then turned upward, blasting into the bottom of its ribcage with both fists, the crunch of bone and cartilage was audible as the massive blow initiated a concussion wave that rattled trees and buildings in the surrounding area. The huge monster was launched into the stratosphere, disappearing from sight.

Maria swooped around, then landed gracefully on the front porch, never breaking stride as she walked back into the house. She dusted off her hands as she stepped inside.

“Sorry about that, guys. Sometimes, annoying things like that happen, when you’re a superhero.”

All of them gaped at her – awed by the ease with which she dispatched the massive, superpowered monster.

Her muscles, still feminine and small, popped in even starker relief as she strode their way, tensed from their recent workout, as trivial as the exercise had seemed for her.

Marc couldn’t believe the power that the girl had. He was the first to respond.

“You just… that was… wow!” he said, tone hushed, reverent.

Maria smiled, lighting the room like the sun.

Megan looked at Marc, spellbound by her sister’s unsurpassable beauty and power. She knew instantly that her relationship was over. Just like all the others. Her goddesslike sister had enthralled another one with her mere presence.

Marc didn’t even notice as Megan left the room, head down and shoulders slumped. Maria remained, however, a calculating expression in her eyes as she stared at Marc. Her mother and father went outside to inspect the damage to the yard.

Maria took Marc’s hand in hers as she walked by him, keeping him mesmerized by the power in her dazzling eyes. She guided him to her room, the young man following her like a puppy, mind overcome to the point of drooling at the thought of spending even a moment with the supremely powerful beauty, ogling her mouth-watering curves.

As they reached her bedroom, Marc couldn’t believe he was actually here, standing next to the bed – the BED! – of his goddess.

The gorgeous girl looked at him as one might look at a cute little kitten. Extending her arms, she placed her fingers on Marc’s shoulders and pushed him down until he was seated at the edge of her bed.

The contact made him shudder, wondering what was to come.

Maria sat down next to him, the thin red fabric of her skirt pulling up to reveal acres of smooth, tanned thigh. She turned to face him, touching her bare knee to his.

She leaned in, moving her perfect, plump lips toward his. Her mass of blonde hair shifted, waterfalling over her shoulder. It smelled of roses. It smelled delicious.

The sensitive flesh of her succulent lips touched his mouth, giving Marc a lifetime’s worth of pleasure in a second. His brain shorted out, and he simply felt with all of his being, ecstasy overwhelming his mind. She pulled back after the briefest of kisses, leaving Marc aching for more.

“Merry Christmas!” she said with a wink, having given her gift. She disappeared with a flash, skyborne and satisfied at the conquest of another male worshipper, formerly Megan’s, now added to her collection.
