Well thank you for the kind words. I Really do try my best to make the best dang comics out there.

This comic was a tough one as I didn't quite know which direction that I wanted to go with this story. Took me awhile to find the right tone that I felt fit the story and characters. And I think it was a good one as Alpha Woman has quite a good adventure in this one with lots of good feats of strength.

And yeah, Dracowhip is one of the big MVPs of Mighty Female Muscle Comix. I love his take on Ms. LIberty, but sadly most people have yet to find them. And I do think his Ms. Liberty issues are some of the best Ms. Liberty stories and I think that means something.

I'm glad you liked it, it was a tough nut to crack this issue. I couldn't quite figure out what tone and direction to take, but I am very happy with how issue 3 turned out. Tried my best to do some fun feats of strength and to also tell a bit of a more adult superhero story.

It's too expensive

I'm sorry you think its too expensive.
While it may be about double the price of a Marvel or DC comic, I know my comics have way more action than theirs.

But, also the truth is I sell very little, and they also have advertisers. So my pricing points are the ones I find that work for me to make a profit and continue to make these fun comics for all the fans of MFMC.

And most comics take me a year or sometimes even multiple years for me to just break even. There are about 5-6 Ms. Liberty's that have yet to break even as well.

In fact I think around half my comics might still be in the black.
Do I run this as a business and a labor of love sure... But, I need to try to make my money back as it funds new content.

And while not all my comics are superhero. I still have a good bit of them that are.
So try not to compare my price with bigger companies. Remember we're a small company, that truly loves the superhero genre.

Are we kidding? You spent more last night on McDonalds than you did on this. For a small company, likely a two or three people operation or less that spent hours drawing, coloring and buidling a story line and $8.50 is too expense? They produce a quality product, better than most out there, and don't have the backing of some large corporatation to cover all their costs... 

Guys, I have an amazing comic for you all. This is the 1st part of an epic 2 part story. In this issue a beautiful but brutal German spy has made off with a whole crate of the powerful Booster Shots. These shots can transform a normal woman into a super muscular and super powerful and nigh unstoppable super soldier... If only for a brief period of time...
With the boosters in hand, the German's are able to form their own Blitzkrieg Battalion and they will challenge not just the might of the allied forces, but Ms. Liberty herself.

Great action in this comic and lots of amazing superhero feats of strength and some nice female muscle growth in it too boot. I really feel like this is one of Ms. L's best adventures and trust me after you read this issue, you're going to be super stoked for what is coming in issue 2. Amazing art by the legendary Lyman Dally. Trust me, you've never read a comic like this one.

Favorite things:
1) Her outfit and hairstyle. And the transformation aspect. It's old-fashioned and Golden Age-y and I like that a lot. Her over-the-top patriotic patter is fun.
2) Conversely, the sexy puns and double-entendres and the comically emasculated bad guys feels a little jarring. It knocks me out of the whole Golden Age vibe.
3) The Blitzkrieg Battalion! Fun to see the half-dozen Bund Deutscher Mädel cover models transformed into Sherman-wrecking powerhouses. Nice to have Miss Liberty have a tougher foe to face, though I admit I ALWAYS want her to win. Peril doesn't interest me in the slightest.
4) Just for fun, specific dates/places/events in the war would be fun. Real stuff (say, the Battle of Midway or the Battle of the Bulge) but given different outcomes by Miss Liberty's intervention. Put her in the desert for Kasserine Pass. Or have her peeling open the Yamato's mammoth hull plates. The war is a gigantic playground. Move your awesome character through it at will!
5) Manic is my favorite just because of that crisp look, but you have a wonderful group of talented artists to serve your stories! The different looks for Miss Liberty are always great.
6) More superheroines! Your comics are sensational.

Eromacque, Let me take time to respond to you. And also thanks for your feedback.

1. Yes, I like a lot of the Golden and silver age comic stuff. My personal favorite superhero is flash gordon. So I love the old time stuff and I just like the whole vibe. So I do put a lot of care into this.

2. The sexual patter and the emasculation... I find that's a tight rope to walk. And actually even in the older movies like Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, within the first 2 minutes their is a boob joke about both Marilyn and Jane not being able to drown. I think its almost the first spoken words in the movie. So sex jokes were nothing new, they just were a little more hidden, but they were there.
But, I think its important to have such talk.

Some jokes get edited out, some jokes get refined. But, also we need to give Ms. Liberty stuff to do and say. Otherwise it would be bland. And a good way to discuss the evolving gender roles and gender traits are the jokes.

And lastly about the golden age vibe. These comics are meant to be an homage, but not a replica of Golden Age comics. To me its more important to explore the gender roles and other aspects of social and physical aspects. Which is one of my main goals. One of my favorite parts of this comic is the soldier showing off his photo of his buff girlfriend to ms liberty. That also set up the juxtoposition with the scene of the soldier who had to shoot and kill the rampaging woman... Which to me was important to address. So a lot of care and thought go into these comics, but they're not meant to be confined to the syrupy tone of the older golden age comics.

3. I like the BB squad. The idea really tickles me... But, the star of the show is always Ms. L. And while she has been in peril a few times here or there... She's always triumphed. But, I think its important that she does have challenges.

And to me its very important that Ms. Liberty isn't a Mary Sue. And I think I've succeeded in making her have real challenges and also show her frailties. The Longest Day is one of my favorite Ms. Liberty stories as it shows her mindset. Physically she might be without peer, but she still can be hurt in other ways. Ways I hope to explore in future comics.

As for peril. I'm a huge fan of 1930s-1950s cliffhanger film serials. I've seen over 80 and plan on watching even more. So I do like to have the women in my comics be in cliffhanger type peril so they can escape from it in spectacular style. A hero is only as good as the challenges they are overcoming.

4. There is a Ms. Liberty timeline. Sadly. She cannot fight in Iwo Jimi. She was on the European front at the time.

As for specific dates... I don't want to completely tie her down with a 100% binding timeline, it also makes me insane. I didn't put exact dates on the new comic as I don't think it needed specific dates. But, it is placed between The War Boosters and Two Too Much, which have specific dates.

As for Ms. Liberty fighting in famous battles. I do have a battle of the bulge idea. We'll see if it happens. I do want her to show up in those battles. But, again... Her timeline is a bit limited as her debut in the war was D-day... Which limits her a little bit. But, I have ideas and plans for her showing up more.

And its important to remember. I'm a low budget comic creator. Ms. Liberty has 13 issues to date. 14th is on the way. That alone is a huge accomplishment. She's done a lot in the war and will continue to do so. It just takes time to cover all that ground.


5. The Manic is an amazing artist. And I'm still amazed at a lot of his layouts for the older comics(and I wrote and helped co-design some of those). He's really busy and I hope to always have him be a part of Ms. Liberty. Just I don't know if we'll ever get full sized comic from him, but I shall always try to get and keep him involved with Ms. Liberty as much as possible. If the sales were greater it would be easier... But, sadly the sales have been in a slump recently.

As for the other artists. I too like all the different takes and renditions of Ms. Liberty. Each artist draws her just a little bit different and I like the fact that their is no house style for her. Expect more new artists to illustrate her and expect to see Zanfadar(Two Too Much) and Dracowhip with at least 1 more comic each of Ms. Liberty.

6. I hope to have more superhero women. I' really am excited for an upcoming superhero comic that has a bit of the same vibe and tone of Ms Liberty... Except its not set during WWII. That's all I will say for now. But, I got a great new superhero comic on the way... She's not a new MFMC hero... But, this will be her relaunch and its going to be great.

I really have a special comic for you all tonight. Special for many, many reasons. One being that its a character that I love and I think one that has potential to be one of the best OC of Mighty Female Muscle Comix. Another is I got to work with the amazing Zanfadar, the artist of Lady of the Jungle, which is one of my all time personal favorite comics I've ever written. It was and will forever be a highlight of my life creating that comic.
And the last reason is because this comic is just one of those rare special times where almost everything fell into place. This comic just turned out amazing. Without a doubt this is one of the best superhero comics I've ever written and produced. It has an aerial dogfight, furious fisticuffs, some fantastic feats of strength, lots of fmg, and a slam bang cat fight!

This comic has been a long time in the making, but it is worth it.
Ms. Liberty is back and she's on an uncover mission to protect a wounded German scientist. His plane was shot down and he was taken to a field hospital to recover. The hospital is only a few miles away from the front lines and the German's want him dead so badly they'll send a whole battalion to murder him.
Only problem they're about to learn that Hell Hath No Fury... Like A Nurse Scorned... Or rater a whole bevy of buff musclebound nurses with mighty female muscles... Yeah... The German's don't stand a chance.
Lots of action, superhero feats of strength, and also female muscle growth! This is a 22 page comic and is a great Ms. Liberty story. If you like it, be sure to check out her other adventures!

A new Ms. Liberty is a great way to start the weekend! Nothing like seeing America's Powerful Patriette, Freedom's Damsel Dynamo... clobbering the baddies and dispensing one-liners! Great job!

Brand new Jorge Garay Mighty Female Muscle Comix adventure! In this story a pair of hapless heroes bicker over saving a damsel in distress and their resulting blunder causes the majority of their super powers to be transferred over to her. Now she's got Mighty Female Muscles and she's no damsel in distress anymore. And as for the heroes they're just a pair of super boobs and she's going to teach them a lesson they won't ever forget!
I will say... While this has some superhero stuff... Its really more 3 stooges like... I would have preferred a bit more 3 stooges hijinks. Jorge didn't quite get that. But, its still a fun comic. And if you like his other comics there is a lot of fun in this one. I enjoy it and I love the character design of the female in it. I hope to do a sequel with more superhero hi jinks in future.
