Lois Lane -- Superwoman!

In the new issue of WIZARD, Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely talk about their upcoming "continuity-free" ALL-STAR SUPERMAN series [pp. 48-52].

Was a fan of the "Imaginary Stories" from the Silver Age and hope this is a semi-spin on that common theme.....

I read somewhere that they postponed it till december. If I recall correct they wanted to finish the current "crisis" story arch first.

What a disappointment!

You just don't understand. The Super Serum changed her into a Super Model which is why she stands or sits looking pretty in her Super Suit for
34 Panels!

And Talk about action. What a great demonstration of invunerabilty by wearing a Uranium necklace! Can it get any better than this?

In terms of "uber" girl content, All-Star Supes #3 could be rated as a disappointment. Lois did more with her powers in the 1960s and 1970s in her own series than she did here. Heck, even her sister Lucy did more when she had superpowers.

However, the real story was about Samson and Atlas, who were almagams of Silver Age idiot heroes that got into contests with Superman for Lois's affections - and a turnabout on Lois and Lana having superpowers (at the same time, no less, ala Lois Lane #21) and vying for Superman's love.

But I'll take Lois in this costume over just about any other (with maybe the exception of Teri's UW costume).
