The Golden Amazon

I dont think I've heard of this one before. Its a story about a girl enhanced to have super strength and super smarts.

She's got the strengrh of ten men, and is uses her super smarts to create an endless fortune and super weapons that she uses in a quest for world domination. Classic villain with a hidden lair and an army of hench(wo)men.

It has flaws...she is knocked out at one point and isnt as physically strpng as I would have liked. And its old...1940's old. Atomic Force bombs replace nukes, flame guns jnstead of lasers. And sadly the Golden Amazon has a reduced sex drive, which serves to make her rather cold and very evil. And she is something of a manhater. The first book had what I thought was a clever ending, though....and I like badgirls.

Its a six book series, and I am about tp read book 2 in which I suspect the villainous superwoman os going to become more of a hero. Ill get back to you on that.

Its worth a read if you like badgirls. One ruthless superwoman versus the world.

There are sadly few scenes of superstrength. She physically overpowers a few people and breaks free from bonds a few times. She builds her own lair, which may have involved using her strength, but that isn't explored at all.

The superpower focused on in the book is her intelligence. I would say she is mostly like a Bond villain.
