This may be old news to some, but in her latest series Mary Jane is rocking a super hero outfit. Shame it's wasted on a non-super character, as I like the look and color scheme.

I think she looks pretty awesome!
I wish more Marvel female characters looked like MJ in this outfit.

Recommending this Amazing Mary Jane comic book series in general.

Writer Leah Williams does a really great job - she seems to know the intricacies of the acting profession and movie industry
(apparently at one point she worked in L.A.)

Interior artist Carlos Gomez always makes Mary Jane look super hot in whatever outfit she's wearing,
and the cover art is at a Frank Cho level of perfection. The stories are light fare and entertaining.

Ya Boi Zack has been gushing about this book, and about Leah Williams, for months. If there were a few dozen writers
like her, perhaps the comic book industry wouldn't be undergoing total collapse right now.

Can't believe Ya Boi Zack would be mentioned in this forum. I like him but our tastes differ.

Really sad about the comic book industry collapse (pencils down). Didn't think this push for "representation" would have this result. I'm not against it but prefer for it to have more weight and substance than just a stereotypical trope token. I had said this a decade ago to the likes of Gail Simone and Kurt Busiek back at the CBR forums. All I got was a whole forum breathing down on me.
