One heroine in this issue. There is a fight with normal humans and the superheroine at the end of chapter 2.

I am hoping the next chapter gets more experimentation with her powers and possible action. I felt like a lot of the dialog heavy sections dragged on longer than they should.

willow ,  Yes there will be.   This issue was more about discovery and coming to terms with her new powers. (Which was throughout the entire issue)  As for the dialog,  if I had cut any of it short, it would have left some big plot holes.   
But, yes, volume 3 jumps right into it.  We even go back and see Damaris in action. 

What about Ubergirl? Continuing that?

Absolutely yes.  I'm just up in the air which to work on first.
