Introducing Scarlet Steel!

You love superwomen. I love superwomen. Frankly, I'll never understand people who don't love superwomen. And after years of development, my best superwoman, Scarlet Steel , has finally taken flight! Her Kickstarter campaign is live and going great. Set in the same "metaverse" as fellow Outpost 426 characters Scorpiana and Mite, Scarlet is a beautiful, brawling superwoman who can knock out the baddest villain at five o'clock and show up for cocktails at six! Originally appearing in Scorpiana #3, this is her first solo issue.



The story kicks off with Scarlet coming to the rescue of her fellow superheroine, Mite, who is in a no-holds-barred battle with none other than Horus himself! The pair emerges triumphant, and after bidding Mite farewell, Scarlet attends a society function hosted by tech mogul Olen Maxx. Also present is Jennifer Pierce, the metahuman known as Arclight. Is she friend or foe? During the gala, Maxx's prototype combat robot -- the Series X Sentry  -- malfunctions and goes berserk, threatening the lives of everyone in the city! Can Scarlet overcome this powerful android and save the day? And was it really an accident?



The debut issue is 30 pages of ass-kicking goodness, with lines by the incomparable Leo Matos and scintillating colors by KodiArt. I think the interior art rivals that of the best indie comics on the market, and I provide plenty of examples. I've also got a plethora of amazing covers by the likes of CB Zane, Steve Scott, Keith Garvey, Courtney Rose, David Lima, Stef Wilson, and Jeff Spokes, among others!
