That movie looked dark, gritty, devoid of color and humorless.
Nothing FANTASTIC about it.

The Story movies where bad-but they had a sence of charming fun about them. Even the Corman Movie was a bit a purposefully funny at times.
I am getting Awe here-and thats a not a bad thing for a superhero movie-but not a lot else.

To make a comparison, Ant-Man also has a very bland trailer, but Marvel Studios has a pretty solid record so far and that makes me more willing to give them a chance.
I'm general I think that the big issues with the F4 is that the Studios are trying to make this a superhero movies, while F4 isn't really a superhero comic, it's much more a sci-fi comic.

The problem here is that it comes from a studio that has a pretty questionable record with the franchise. The Story movies had a lot of bad points, but they had also some pluses (Michael Chikilis nailed Ben Grimm as far as I'm concerned).

Crossing superhero movies with science fiction is the ultimate for me. You get to use all the power of both genres to make an exciting story. This F4 trailer suggests this is where they are going, which is one of the few charms of the F4 franchise. So I'm hopeful.
