I just got a message from ace suggesting that I set up an account at DeviantArt (apparently it's cheap) and start posting my stories there, along with any artwork. Of course, I'd post links here. It sounds feasible.

You can set a free account on Deviant Art, or you already can post at sites like fanfiction.net, which is a fanfic concentrator.

DeviantArt is a way to go, so is setting up a free website on yahoo/geocities, and so on. I think that LFan might have some sort of higher admin access to the site, but we haven't seen much of him around lately either.

My vote is for copy and paste to a new thread until it ends up in the bank.

Copy and paste is a good option, but open a backup place is another good option too. I really suggest use fanfiction.net or deviant art as backup places. And deviant art even has an edge, you can add pictures to your profile and even "promote" art challenges and get gift art for free

Argo you need to put the pics up somewhere on the web like Deviant Art or Flickr than use the Img link to display the pic in the message.

I just sent the final edits of Chapter 17 to my co-author. Unless he spots a typo or suggests a final tweak, he'll be sending it along to admin II -- who I hope will put it in the StoryBank by Christmas. Oh yes, it includes TWO illustrations by TGK.

Chapter 17 of TSOS is now in Admin II’s hands. Argo and I are going to take a little break from TSOS. He has been nudging me to get back to work on Turnabout, so I will finish up chapter two of Kelly and Penny and then try to get going on Turnabout again.

In the meantime, Argo has been working on a couple of “Secret” projects.
He is collaborating with another SuperWomanManiac on one of them. I have had the privilege of reading the first chapter as well as a sneak peak at the pencils of the first two TGK illustrations. All I can say is that I know everyone is going to love this tale!

And I think the best news of all is it looks like everyone is going to get what they really want for this XMAS. More action and content at SWM!

Another quality piece of work by Argo, Ace, and TGK. I'm finding myself more interested in the Lana/Lex relationship more so than the action accompanying it. And Clark is such a jerk, I'm curious to see how he'll turn it around.

As for the teaser cover art for the next story...if this was the silver age, it would be a case of bait and switch where the cover leads you in one direction, but when you read the story it's something completely different...I have faith Team Acenaut will deliver.

I've said it before I hate stories of Superman, or in this case Clark, losing his powers and he's portrayed as a jerk because of it.

That said, I don't hate this one.

Yes, Chapter 17 focussed more on character development and relationships than on action -- but Ace and I intend to make up for that in the next chapter.

As for if, when, and how Clark will turn it around -- you'll have to wait and see.

Same goes for the "teaser" -- although we promise that the cover scene WILL appear in Chapter 18!

Hey, I'm not complaining about the lack of action. It's the character development and relationships that made me not hate this story. It's actually making this story more of a story, they become characters not just blank slates that can beat up a thug or two and tow a freighter.

I loved it when Lana was a bit jealous of Suzy or when she becomes affected by the derisive things said about her. I loved how gleeful she became when complimented and proud to be compared with her alter ego.

I hate Clark for being a sourpuss, I hate it in a good way. But still waiting for him to grow up. At first he had the right attitude, he strove to be the best of what he can be but I guess seeing what he lost really ate at him. But that is just immature. Well I surmise that's teenagers for you.

One thing I realized writing this post, I'll not be waiting for a turnaround with Clark, I'm no longer even expecting a return of his powers. Just surprise me team Acenaut

I really liked it. But this time I am feeling sorry about Clark, or he is going to start his criminal career now or he is the most idiotic guy on this side of Kansas City

By the way, when are we going to read the next chapter?

The chapter's been about half-finished for a while. Ace and I haven't had much time to work on it in the last couple of weeks. I don't know about Ace, but the rest of month looks pretty busy for me, and in March I'll be doing some traveling with Mrs. Argonaut.

We're at a natural "break" in the story, so we might post the first part of the chapter soon -- just to toss our readers a bone.

Oh, and feedback on previous chapters is a sure-fire spur to get us busy at the keyboard ... hint, hint!

Winter is a very busy time at work for me. I too have some vacation coming up in March, but I imagine that when April comes, we will get back to work full speed on it. We split the next chapter up into two parts, chapter 18 and 19. 18 is almost done, but the way work is for the two of us, I am not sure we can get 18 finished before vacation comes along.

I would not worry about that. We have way too much money invested in
pics already on the hardrives to quit now! We just got the second color digital image from TG of Suzy for our next chapter two days ago.

And trust me. We have in all probablity had way more fun writing this story than anyone else has reading it!
