Nice team up by Argo & BW!
I always like this kind of light hearted and fun read. It is part of what makes the genre fun. A fun twist poking fun or paying homage to main stream medias’ attempt at super heroine movies while also changing it so it’s more in line with how we like it. As always loved the outfit description, and also the lowering of the car to the ground.
How did he get his hands on that “flashlight?”

Thanks for posting the stories.
I don't know if it was just my browser, but it looks like the end of 'Amber Waves' has been cut off, maybe the last 40 lines or so.
Let me know if you need me to resend the file.
The version in the bank ends with the words "the attacking forces". It should continue for a while after that.

It's a pleasure to read parts 3 and 4 of Serena again. I read them ages ago, but never saved them. They're as enjoyable as I remembered, though for some reason I can't define I prefer part 3 to 4.
Only a Movie is a nice short story. I read it here on the forum but never commented (remiss of me, I know). Even knowing that the first and second half are by differenr people I find it hard to spot the join. It's certainly a good fusion.
Last, but by no means least, Independence girl is a good coninuation to the Stupendous Girl series. The naive superwoman is delightfull to read about (though dangerous to be around). And the conspiracy is cetainly an interesting hook.
Thanks to all the authors for bringing enjoyment to my day.

sites.google.com/site/geeksevenstuff/Home/stories/amber-waves
Search for "Churchill had nightmares" to get to the right paragraph.
JKIJ, you are correct. Churchill's nightmares are references to AK's 'Ubermadchen' stories/ideas.

Story should be corrected in the storybank now to include the WHOLE story. Apologies to GeekSeven.

I was a beta reader for the other three stories, but I enjoyed reading them again. Brad and Geek7 bring a nice light touch to our genre, and their stories are always fun.
Thanks to all three authors!

The last two alternative history have also been more interesting to me, since there it’s a solder (well, and a sailor) operating under orders as part of a full scale war. And once again, there isn’t so much random excessive violence as some other stories. In fact, I can’t think of any point in Amber Waves where she deliberately kills anyone (I know she sinks a lot of ships, but at there is a deference between destroying machines and people). And I do like the idea of a British Supergirl (possible even a Scottish Supergirl?).

If the 'Liberty Belle' universe continues then there will definitely be a British supergirl or two at some point. If nothing else then it will give me an excuse to post another picture of Gemma Atkinson from Red Alert 3...

Yes a Scottish supergirl would be much appreciated, helping William Wallace defeat the English enemy vagabonds.
I actually thought of nicking GeekSeven’s idea and doing a story based on the Battle of Falkirk. As for the idea of Gemma Atkinson as a supergirl, she wouldn’t be my first choice but I suppose it could be worse. And I suppose it would be appropriate to have someone from the RAF (since the other two are army and navy)

I vote for Karen Gillian.
Indeed a redhead to boot. Would make an interesting episode of Who....
Doctor: What are you eating?
Karen: Nothing just this thing a Zalarian offered me. Why?
Doctor frowning: Was it green?
Karen: Yeah
-Suddenly she feels woozy and shoots into the air like a missile yelling, "DOCTOR!"
The Doctor shakes his head, "Not again..."

That was my first thought as well, especially since she is tall (5’11”) and from my home town of Inverness. The only problem is that there aren’t that many photos of her (Yet!).
