It's always fun to read about Stupendous Girl. She really is getting more of a hang of life on Earth and how fragile humans are. Now it will only be about another year before Iona gets the hang of super life too, assuming she gets that long. At least she managed to save the baby.

A somewhat ominous ending, what with an evil sorceress scheming to usurp Iona's body and the evidence that the planet is under a dire threat. I wonder if the threat has something to do with what happened to Randall and Iona's grandmother. It can't have been just any old threat that killed her.

I look forward to finding out what happens next and who all the plotting factions are. I am sure that there is also more comiserating with Chrissy and Iona to do when they get a bit too enthusiastic.

Well the plot is surely thickening and I have to say that I'm enjoying G7 writing more and more each time.

Very good story Geekseven, plenty of character development and not too much gore. The plot is defiantly becoming more and more interesting, and I suspect John Dixon has a few more secrets up his sleeve. It’s also good to see Stupendous Girl adjusting to life on earth (and managing not to hurt anyone this time round). It’s also interesting to see Iona discovering what it’s like to have superpowers, at least she gets upset when she accidentally kills someone. Also, I like the bit at the start with HMS Ulysses, makes a change from everything revolving around the US.
Of cause there is the growing sense of approaching doom, which (I hope) will not end too unhappily (i.e. with everyone dying unpleasantly).
