SuperGirl of Smallville - Chapter 21 Now Posted -- 3/26/10
I've been on a hiatus from this forum for a while. Long story short, I was given some extra responsibilities at work and I took on some "caretaker" responsibilities at home -- so I had to cut back on some of my other activities. Things have eased up on the work front, and I've just started catching up here.
Rich: I'm sorry you didn't a reply to your question sooner. Ace and I both happened to be "off the radar" when you posted it. Believe me, neither of us would have deliberately ignored a question from a reader -- especially one who had such kind words for our story.
As Ace explained, Chapter 22 was substantially complete when I had to put it on the back burner. (Final edits are one of my responsibilities.) I've started the final revision, and hope to have it finished in a couple of days.
To eavatar and eromacque: Thanks for the props. Ace and I recognize that our story isn't to everyone's taste, so we're especially grateful for appreciative readers like you.
And now, back to the story.

The attitude and 'sense of entitlement' of some posters never ceases to amaze me. Unacceptable? Umm, does he work for you or did you pay for any type of services? If not, I think the use of the word 'unacceptable' is a little... well... unacceptable. While him finishing the story is not the end all/be all of your life, reading your little whiney diatribe is certainly not the end all/be all of mine.
Perhaps he didn't see your question...ever think of that, Brainiac!

Er ... thanks for the support, Lfan, but Rich wasn't complaining about the long wait for the next chapter -- he was pointing out that he'd asked a simple question and hadn't got a reply. It's true (as I explained in my previous post) that I hadn't seen his question, but not replying was a discourtesy, albeit unintentional, and I hope Rich forgives my apparent rudeness.
I think it was Oscar Wilde who said "A gentleman is someone who never hurts another person's feelings unintentionally."
