Finally a site update!!! I know, it's been a while, but I've been dealing with some personal biz and have also been doing a little reswizzling of the site to help make updates go more smoothly. So without further ado, please check out "The Aleesha Chronicles" by DKC in the storybank!

For those who read its previous incarnation on the forum, DKC has added some stuff and it is worth a second glance!! If you missed it, please be sure to give it a read!!

As always, our SWM authors are 'flattery operated' so please post your comments here to DKC if you get a chance!

I like the story too. Always luv the bad gurls

Who is leesha though, was it the bartender.

And is this the same Aleesha from project.

Hopefully we will get to see more of Devi.

Thanks.

DKC:

I've only read about a third of the story, but I'm really liking it so far. The opening scene ran in my head like an old Twilight Zone episode, and I always enjoy stories in which a novice superwoman explores her new abilities. I'm guessing your story might turn out to be darker and gorier than I care for, but I'm still eager to get back to it and find out what happens next.

Can't answer for the last one, but in the end of The Project there was a sort of little plot twist, suggesting that many of DKC ubergirls were actually empowered by Aleesha wondering through the universes looking for her original one.

Anyway I already enjoyed the story when it was posted the first time, a great work about the temptation of power.

Hopefully DKC might elaborate, but the "Aleesha" in question is indeed the same one from the Project according to him! I asked him the same question when he submitted the story. :D

From the next to last paragraph of "The Project"

Aleesha paid little attention to the inhabitants of the world she basked on. Her eyes wandered to the stars above her. She looked for home. Some planets crumbled before her gaze and other planets were forever tormented. Some planets she played with and on others she granted wishes but only too the uncorrupt and watched with juvenile fascination as the planets were destroyed because of them.

In the words of Yogi Bear, "Who else?"

Another terrific yarn by DKC with his signature plot twists!

I have read it several times, but I treated myself to a re-read today and I enjoyed it as much as the first time that I read it.

Thanks everyone! I feel spoiled for having being comped twice for the same story. The Bartender is Aleesha from the Project. But she still doesnt really know who she is, yet. I figured I'd explore that for awhile.

Also, Ace, I think ive got an idea for a story, And I'm very sure I'm going to need your help with this one.

Thanks again everyone. Glad you liked it

Nice work D_K_C - some really evil ideas in there.

Death by spit, car to moon launch, fire etc - ouch.

Really liked the mace to a "supers" face idea.

Thanks for your work!

Poor, poor Devi. Doing evil as a result of an accident then forced to do more to prevent an even worse fate. Damn that Aleesha. She might sayshe found Devi borin, but I bet she really loved forcing her to act against her nature.

Novel ways fo a bad Superwoman to kill in here. I guess somebody who doesn't really want to be bad can be surprisingly good at thinking up ways when they have to.
