Hey, everybody!

I just wanted to tell you all that the third and final chapter of my Fleischer Superwoman origin story has been submitted to the StoryBank!

Attached to this story is a fantastic picture that I had commissioned by the ultra-talented ARTGK! :D

I earnestly hope that you will enjoy this.

Thanks,

Thanks Dr. M.....my apologies for not mentioning it but I've been participating in the 'airport goat rodeo' today and haven't been online consistently.

Thanks for a great contribution!

How is it that your writing just keeps getting better? Your fantastic Golden Age girl is growing by leaps and bounds, and you're surrounding her with compelling characters and sensational plotting. If the Fleischers were around, it's Clara who'd be immortalized in animation.

Keep up your incredible work. Your works bring credit to the genre and smiles to your readers.

As I usually say I'm not too much into Golden or Silver age writing (I grew up during the late Bronze/early Iron Age) but I really think that' good writing, and the art is perfect icing on the cake.

Various things have kept me away from this forum for a while, but now that I'm back, my first order of business is to commend the authors of the two latest additions to the StortBank.

CavemanNinjaJoe: "The Experiment" is such a tightly plotted story that I had to re-read the first two chapters to refresh my memory of what had happened so far. I'm really impressed at how the story is developing. With each chapter, you answer some questions while raising others. I'm looking forward to learning more about Burke's motives and the purpose of the Scorpion project, and about Alexis / Scorpion's back-story.

On a purely mechanical note, I'm glad to see you've adopted the convention of starting a new paragraph with each change of speaker. It makes your dialogue read much more easily.

Dr. Muttonchops: Chapter 3 of "Dawn of a Heroine" brings Superwoman's back-story to a satisfying conclusion. I enjoyed the inclusion of George Taylor and the Daily Star (where Clark Kent worked in the earliest Superman stories), and the story as a whole has a wonderful "period" flavor, as Superwoman thwarts some run-of-the-mill mobsters, brings relief to the Dust Bowl, stops a group of Nazi agents, and single-handedly brings down an entire Luftwaffe squadron. She may have started WW II prematurely, as another reader commented, but she might end it a lot sooner, too. A subject for a future chapter, perhaps?

I recognized the "mother buzzard" line as a reference to His Girl Friday. Rosalind Russell would have been perfect as Clara Kent!

And come to think of it, Cary Grant would have been great as Louis Lane:

Thank you very much for the kind words on my story, Argo! I don't know aboutwriting another long story involving war, as it's very taxing on my imagination, but we'll see.

Yeah, glad you picked that up! Thanks for the casting suggestions. Rosalind would've been great in the role, although personally, I see someone a little younger playing Louis.

Thank you again.

I thought this was a great conclusion to the earlier two parts. I could definitely "see" the action in my head (though the art didn'thurt one bit) . Not exactly where I would have expected the story to go, but I, loved every moment of seeing where it would end up. And it's always satisfying to see Nazi's getting their just deserts,

Thanks for the time and effort that went into writing this.
