Storybank Re-seeding was created by lfan

Question time.....

I still have a number of stories to reseed to the Storybank. Question is, would everyone prefer a "date added" of their original SWM date or today's date so they show up as "new" for everyone. Will open the floor to comments.....if no definitive arguments, I'll add them the easiest way!

Sorting by Author and Title are the only important ones I think, so my vote is to do it in the most convenient way!

Funny and interesting....I'm the opposite and always look for the newest ones (date sort). Then again, I know I have issues....

For a matter of claruty I think that it would be better to upload them with the original date, eventually posting in this section to notify any new elements.

Aside from that I think that it might be a good idea to create a separate folder - or a sorting button - for the Workshops entries, just for the sake of clarity.

I think I only use author and title sort because there are so few entries nowadays that a date sort is irrelevant

I'd personally prefer the date added to be the original date, but it wouldn't bother me too much the other way though. Date sort would only really be important to me when I feel like comparing the different entries to the workshops, but theyy'd be easy enough to find anyway.

I prefer original dates, but I'm not at all concerned if it's delaying the re-seeding project. The new site looks great, and it will be great once all the functionality is sorted. Please restore the storybank to its former glory soon, guys. I miss it....

Just for the record I noticed that the sorting by author list hasn't been implemented yet. If I try to use it it works by title instead.
Also I can't download a PDF of a story with images either my browser crash or it says that it can't be done since the image files don't exist (like with the Supergirl of Smallville 22)

It looks like sorting by author still doesn't work... I'm still getting the stories sorted by title.

Also, I reported in another thread that CavemanNinjaJoe's stories didn't make it... I can't find YAGS' either. I'm sure there are others too, but it looks like the authors aren't reporting it

Sorting by author does work for me, but a lot of stories are still missing, and the first five on the list don't seem to have authors. And as I complained about weeks ago, there's way too much information on the page, so it's pretty hard to find anything. With the first few stories not showing an author, it took some searching to realize where the author displays for those stories that do have one. It doesn't exactly stand out.

Sorting by author doesn't work for me either, if it can be of any help I use Firefox 4.0 on Windows 7 x64.
