hi all,

A few users have reported a problem with the "submit a story" namely that they could not submit a story, so after some work i've sorted out.

To do that i've had to change all "registered" users to "author".

So there should be no issues now but if there is can users please PM me.

Thanks

Fats

I want to upload a story, but there are no obvious instructions, leaving me to figure out what to do on my own. There doesn't seem to be anywhere to upload or paste the file for the actual story, unless you do that in the field marked "Description" which I'm hesitant to assume.

Hello,
maybe some of you know me because I held blog that I closed some weeks ago (PowerSophie...). Now, I'd like to writte some stories but I'm not very fluent in English and I'm much more more productive in my native language (french).
So what do you prefer?
- A story in a bad English
- A better story (which can be translate later) in French?

- Or nothing at all...

I don't know how many people around here are fluent in French (I'm not ofr sure, I understand it but that's all), so I think it's better to have something in engllish which can be more comprehensible. Otherwise you can ask someone for help to translate your work.

By the way welcome and I'm a bit disappointed that you closed the Blog it was very good.

I've got the same problem as you SophiePortmane !
I wrote some stories in French too. But I don't think a software translator could translate all the language's subtilities. Is there some other french here who could translate stories in English, or can I post my stories directly in French, maybe some guys would be interested by SuperWomen stories in French ?

Hi, Sophie:

A few years ago, I translated some of Artnico's stories into English. I'll be busy with my workshop story for the next five weeks or so, but maybe I could translate your story during the summer. Send it to me when you're finished, and I'll look it over.

Actually that refers to the fact that when translating is impossible to keep both the exact letter of th text and all the nuances, jokes and details so you always have to negotiate the two elements.

Umm, I can't seem to find the guide to uploading stories you said you were gonna post. Am I a complete ignoramus or did you get sidetracked by that translation dilemma Sophie was having?

Hi,

here is the attached file with a very basic guide to story submission, work has been the main reason for the delay.

Ah, I see. You put the story text in the box marked "Description" How counterintuitive. I thought that was just supposed to be for the story description for the list page with the actual story supposed to go somewhere else.
