Danger in the Wilderness
My only complaint about his previous story was that Superwoman didn't go into action until about 2/3 of the way through. Here, we get lots of action, spread across the entire story, along with the humor and period flavor that we've come to expect. (The screaming headlines and fast-talking radio announcers are nice homages to the Fleischer cartoons.) Plus the introduction of a classic villain.
Recommended for your weekend reading enjoyment.

If Lfan wants to revive the 1000-word story workshop, a good subject might be "A superwoman walks into a bar ..."

Superwomen + alcohol = fun times for all.

Sorry that I disappointed you with the last one, Argo, but I'm glad that I satisfied you with this one! This story would've been nothing without your great suggestions! I should tell you that in the one or two stories I have planned down the road, Superwoman is herself for most of the tale.
DietSnapple: I'm glad that you liked that bear fight scene! A commissioned illustration of it is in the works!

That drawing was based on an actual Superman. I did do a story where I repeated the plot and I don't care to do another.

That would be very interesting.
I like the story too, even if I prefered the previous installments

I do wonder when, if ever, the villains will realise that they can't hurt Superwoman. It would be less fun if they did, though.
Thanks for the story.

Yeah, it would make them less fun if that were the case.
You're very welcome.

Realistically, the moment Superwoman entered the bar, the crooks would have put up their hands and said "Just tell us what you want."
But where's the fun in that?
During the Silver Age, crooks were always shooting at Superman, even though they knew he was bullet-proof -- just for the hell of it, I guess.
I remember a story where Superboy learned that some gangsters were planning to rob a Smallville bank. Since he had some other mission to perform, he asked a random teenager to put on a Superboy costume (and a rubber mask) and just stand in front of the bank to scare the robbers off. "You'll be perfectly safe," he assures the kid. "Those crooks won't shoot at you because they know that Superboy is invulnerable!"
(Strangely, Superboy was NOT named in a wrongful death lawsuit!)
