New Artwork & Story Contest

"We're putting the band back together..."

I don't know how many of you guys are familiar with Paul Smith's Xtreme Strength website, or the associated Yahoo Group?

The theme of both is women with extreme strength (Hence the title, LOL), and by extreme we don't just mean being able to lift a few hundred pounds - we mean a few hundred tons! At least!

I'm trying to regenerate the Group (And maybe the site...).

I've cleared out the spam, updated the links, added some content, and now hope to get the bi-monthly contests running again.

The first new contest has begun and if anyone wishes to enter a piece of artwork, a story, or a video clip, they are very welcome.

The contest rules:-

1) Must be in keeping with the group's theme and be about one or more women with extreme srength...

2) Stories and artwork are allowed. Also video if anyone's feeling really keen!

3) The entry must be a new creation - the idea is to promote new works - not redisplay old ones, however good they are...

4) All characters must be aged over 18

5) Closing date 16th October?


Once the closing date has passed, members will be invited to vote for a winner - who will then receive a round of applause.

To anyone unfamiliar with Xtreme Strength, please feel free to view the site, join the group and make a contribution.

At present group membership does require moderator authorization. This is to help keep spammers out. Please be patient and applications will be processed as soon as possible.

I check this site all the time and I have not noticed anything different since March of 2010. Am I using the wrong link?

Sounds like the Yahoo group is what's been cleaned up, and the website you checked might also get an update if the plan comes together.

The Yahoo Group (URL above) has been brought up to date but the site itself currently remains unchanged.

In time I hope that will also become updated.

I've always loved the Xtreme Strength website. Though a lot of them are filled with stories of inhuman muscle types. Some of them are REALLY good. But I prefer the small super girl with all the powers and such ^^
