storybank question was created by oldHarmonyMotion
How well can the storybank handle html story submissions?
I notice that some people put images in theirs. How is that handled?

Most things can be copy/pasted since the WYSIWYG Editor is compatible with MS Word etc.
Images are another story as "Insert Image" prompts an extra window to choose an image on the server - which can also be uploaded there. It's helpful if you use the same image for multiple stories, otherwise it boils down to "upload an image and it can be used in the story".
Speaking of images in stories, has the not working link in DKC's The Project Finale ever been fixed?

Oh I see, I totally forgot how story submission worked. Heh.
I guess there's no way to edit raw html, huh?
Anyway, the reason I ask is because I was thinking about writing a Choose Your Own Adventure story. I notice the storybank allows to create anchors, which means that I would just have to have tons of whitespace in between sections. This seems distasteful to me for no real reason other than you might just be scrolling and get lost. My thought was to have multiple submissions, with each submission linking to another. I understand this could end up spamming the storybank, although I would definitely try to make each section substantial, not just a 4 line paragraph.
Thoughts?
PS This might all come to nothing. I'll try to start working on it and see what I get.

Just something on the same line, I've tried to update one of my stories adding images but, when I click "save", I got a confimation message and nothing changes.
Any suggestion about how to do it?

I asked fats for every single change I wanted to make, but it seems the new version of the site will be much better in this regard.
