Closure Hour Extras
First of all this was the inspiration for the "Hall of the Smoking Dragon". It's a real pub where I go from time to time.
While this is a rough sketch of Maggie's costume.
I hope you enjoyed it.

I like the picture of Maggie, very appropriate for a Scottish heroine. Did you ever get round to thinking up a superhero name for her?

Sigh, unfortunatly it's not that close to my place, it's about two hours away by car. But every time I went there I came back 100% satisfied.

Actually no I haven't thought of a codename. As for the costume, I admit that the St. Andrew's cross was something of a last minute addition to break up the otherwise monocrome blue pattern.

That sounds a little bit like Bugmans Bar down in Nottingham Link , good place to take a break between killing Space Marines!

I like it, not to flashy but makes her nationality abundantly clear. As for a name, how about Saltire? It fits her uniform and again emphasizes her Scottishness.

As a regular gamer I knew of the Bugmans, although I've never been there so far (I'm still trying to get a job at GW).

Saltire... maybe. I'm still working on this part, but this is a good possibility.

The design is very practical and kick ass. Like a Scottish 'Black Widow'.

Among these 'Capercaillie' is probably my least favorite, mostly because I can't really see it applied to Maggie.
'Flower of Scotland' is probably too much of a mouthful. Plus there is another character that I put together some time ago called "Fleur de Lys" and these two names feel a bit too similar for me.
Anyway thanks for the suggestions.
Right now I was leaning toward calling her 'Claymore', in spite of her height.

I never thought to compare this design to Black Widow, but I can see what you mean.

- First and foremost Maggie's ginger hair are a wig that is attached to her mask, she's actually a brunette with a pixie cut
- Second, the gloves should be shorter and look a bit more
heavy duty
, although a little less bulky.
- Third, for the pouch I would prefer something less fashion and more military looking
One of the thing I wanted to convey with my picture was the idea of a more practical costume, something that looked more "put together in a military store" opposed to "dressed to kill".

That's something else I liked about Maggie, a stereotypical Scottish redhead who turns out to be something completely different. And I quite like pixe cuts anyway.
I'd defiantly like to read more stories about her, it's great to hear about a Scottish superwoman.

Thanks, I'm trying to figure out a good plot for a continuation. I know I want to include another super-character, but I'm having to trouble to figure him/her out.
