Good stuff. I know at least one other author who is working on a Christmas story. Hopefully it will be a very merry superwomen Christmas.

A CHRISTMAS KARA-L
'Twas the night before Christmas at Argonaut's house.
Argo logged off with a click of the mouse.
He'd read the new posts at his favorite site,
And now what to do for the rest of the night?
He straightened the star at the top of his tree
And put on his Christmas with Elvis CD.
Stoking the blaze on the hearth with a log,
He poured some Jack Daniels into his 'nog,
Then settled way back in his comfiest chair
As strains of "Blue Christmas" were filling the air.
Maybe he'd have a late snack by and by
(There was leftover turkey and apple-crumb pie),
But for now he leaned back and rested his eyes ...
Then he sat upright again in surprise.
What's that? he wondered. What's going on?
For he clearly heard footsteps out on the lawn.
He strode to the window, and peering outside,
He beheld -- Could it be? His eyes opened wide.
For standing outside in the winter-y cold
Was a beauty whose hair fell in ringlets of gold.
Her cape was bright red -- her miniskirt, too --
And her blouse, like her eyes, was a bright shade of blue.
And emblazoned across her superlative chest
Argonaut saw a familiar red "S."
He blinked -- then again -- then he let out a yell,
For he knew right away it was KARA ZOR-EL.
He hastened to open the window up wide,
Ignoring the cold he was letting inside.
The damsel leapt up from the snow-covered ground
And in through the window she came in a bound.
Smiling as Argonaut stood there agape,
She presented a gift from a pouch in her cape,
Wrapped in red paper and tied with a bow.
"And now," said the damsel, "I really must go.
I'm flying all over the planet tonight,
Visiting everyone else from the site --
Lfan and Fats, GeekSeven and Ace,
Dr. Muttonchops, njae, Anon and Grayface!"
With a toss of her head and a wink of her eye,
She sprang through the window and into the sky.
And as she flew off, Argonaut heard her say:
"HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL! UP, UP AND AWAY!"
Happy holidays to everyone at SWM!
Now to pour myself some eggnog and read the stories by GeekSeven and Dr Muttonchops!

JKIJ wrote: I feel like I'm in heaven. I've been feeling really low and haven't spent much time around here lately but I now find that Christmas is here, I've cheered up a bit and there's lots of wonderfull stories for me to read along with the traditional rendition of Night Before Christmas. Thanks very much to all involved in spreading some additional Christmas spirit which has been most welcome to this poor soul.
It has been many years since I've ever felt the Christmas spirit, but I'm very happy to hear that these stories have helped you feeling better.

G7: A nifty reworking of the Dickens classic.
Dr. M: A sweet little story, combining some superwoman action with some nice interaction between Clara and Louis.
JKIJ: Glad to hear my fellow writers and I helped to lift your spirits. I hope things look up for you in 2013.
