Superwoman's Next Adventure?

Superwoman's Next Adventure? was created by Dr. Muttonchops
Hey, everybody! With Superman's 75th Anniversary coming up next month and the new Man of Steel film hitting theaters at that time, I decided that another Fleischer Superwoman story would be a fitting tribute. I'd like some suggestions from you of what plotline you would like to see for the next Golden Age Superwoman story.

Well Doc, you've already convered the plots from the first two Superman movie with some of your past entries, which were some pretty big plots.

I have three possible suggestions:
  1. try to adapt some really big story from the comics. My preferences are geared toward "For the Man Who Has Everything", although I recognize that it might not sit well with the Golden Age style of your character.
  2. an Imaginary Story/Elseworld of your liking (once again my preferences goes with Alan Moore's work "What Happened To the Man of Tomorrow?", the last pre-crisis story of Superman)
  3. maybe introducing Supergirl in your stories

How about taking it back to the 1938 style (pre-K Metal and before becoming too powerful) to honor the anniversary. Maybe do a variation on The Crime Wave TV episode ?

Those are some awesome ideas!

I was going to suggest a "World's Finest" Elseworlds plot that involved the full bodysuit Supergirl dealing with the current North Korean nuclear threat. Of course with the Superwoman version...

Though, I think introducing Supergirl into your stories would be better. :)

Maybe a story featuring the mad scientist from the first Fleischer Superman cartoon? And maybe you could move the Clara/Louis relationship forward, by having Louis admit that he cares for Clara, or having Clara reveal her Superwoman identity to Louis?

I'm sorry, Argo, but Clara will only reveal her identity to Louis in the final story. I already have a scenario for it.

Hmm,

I'd say its time for SWM to go up against another superpowered foe. So maybe one of the Krypton 3 comes back or someone else with different superpowers. A bit vague I know lol.

Whatever your do sure it will be awesome!

Hmm. that enemy with superpowers suggestion got my gears turning. What about the Parasite? Maybe a female version? Gets their mitts on Superwoman and steals her powers. Once she starts getting her powers back, Superwoman needs to figure out a way to take down the Parasite without touching them

It's funny that you mentioned that, Jumper. While brainstorming for my newest story, the villainess WAS originally the female Parasite! I decided to make it into Atom Woman for reasons I don't remember. However, for artistic reasons, I'm not so sure I want to have two similar stories back to back.

A pair of ideas:

-An adaptation of "Billion Dollar Limited" (doesn't needs be money, of course-could be something more essential or delicate-like medicines). Clara Vs. some well-equipped bundle of crooks and her having to save a peculiar cargo from getting smashed.

-An adaptation of "Electric Earthquake". Change is an increase of underwater peril, with Clara nearly drowning as a result (idea could be a two-round fight with Superwoman needing to take air marking the split between them, or her battling the enemy and winning, but the exhaustion and damages of the battle exhausts all of her air... could give Louis a small moment of helping her as well).

-Doomsday. Simply said. Not needs adapt the whole thing, but the idea in general is just that it's the toughest and most brutal fight Clara has ever had. We're talking that it topples entire city blocks, thousands of people running for their lives, making Clara wish that it was any of her other enemies, and the army and air force and anybody with a gun is blazing away at the monster to try and do *something* to it (even if it's mighty ineffective).

Okay, since there are no more suggestions I'll do the Parasite one. I'll also include one of Argo's ideas. I guess you can lock this thread now.

Nothing wrong with a Parasite story. I've always liked the concept - not that anyone would know that from it being a theme in my videos now and then. B)
