I have three possible suggestions:
- try to adapt some really big story from the comics. My preferences are geared toward "For the Man Who Has Everything", although I recognize that it might not sit well with the Golden Age style of your character.
- an Imaginary Story/Elseworld of your liking (once again my preferences goes with Alan Moore's work "What Happened To the Man of Tomorrow?", the last pre-crisis story of Superman)
- maybe introducing Supergirl in your stories

Those are some awesome ideas!
I was going to suggest a "World's Finest" Elseworlds plot that involved the full bodysuit Supergirl dealing with the current North Korean nuclear threat. Of course with the Superwoman version...
Though, I think introducing Supergirl into your stories would be better.

I'd say its time for SWM to go up against another superpowered foe. So maybe one of the Krypton 3 comes back or someone else with different superpowers. A bit vague I know lol.
Whatever your do sure it will be awesome!

-An adaptation of "Billion Dollar Limited" (doesn't needs be money, of course-could be something more essential or delicate-like medicines). Clara Vs. some well-equipped bundle of crooks and her having to save a peculiar cargo from getting smashed.
-An adaptation of "Electric Earthquake". Change is an increase of underwater peril, with Clara nearly drowning as a result (idea could be a two-round fight with Superwoman needing to take air marking the split between them, or her battling the enemy and winning, but the exhaustion and damages of the battle exhausts all of her air... could give Louis a small moment of helping her as well).
-Doomsday. Simply said. Not needs adapt the whole thing, but the idea in general is just that it's the toughest and most brutal fight Clara has ever had. We're talking that it topples entire city blocks, thousands of people running for their lives, making Clara wish that it was any of her other enemies, and the army and air force and anybody with a gun is blazing away at the monster to try and do *something* to it (even if it's mighty ineffective).
