Okay, all done just like I promised. I sent Lfan the draft last night, so it'll be up in little while.

I've come across all ungrateful. I was not aware that there was a problem either with too little feedback or low quality writing here. I have been in a bad mood.

I never said anywhere that I disaprove of or am hurt by negative feedback. You don't write a story in someone else's backyard like AAA without expecting pretty strong critism. What got me out of sorts was being accused of 'more of the same' having not posted anything here in eight years. I think that's extremely unfair. In the thread welcoming me back no less.

I read with some amusement that Njae wants more people to tell him his stories plain 'suck'. Not sure you really want that, Njae. I wonder how you'd really feel about copping that...not sure you'd be as any more grateful than I was. I sincerely hope you never have to find out.

I'm really stoked to have caused such a stir, but I think I need some time to think before I write again. So that's it from me, at least for now.

I was afraid this would happen, and I don't blame you.

Which is why, selfishly, I quickly came to your defense and felt I got drug through the mud because of it. I felt I stood up against plain rudeness and got shot down for expecting simple decency.

I keep a DA page for characters like ours, and there, I don't make any apologies about it. You are more than welcome to share your stories there and I will post them in the gallery under your name, if you like. To entice you further, I'll commission a likeness of one of your characters.

I'm pretty sure you misunderstood me there. If you mean my post in the "I would like to see" thread, then I meant that I want more detailed feedback. And since you already asked for constructive criticism over "It sucks" I meant the same for the positive counterpart as well.

I feel a bit bad that I planted the impression that we have a problem with low quality writing in your head. I already mentioned that is not the authors - or your - fault, but I think it needs to be mentioned again. I just hope you get back into writing soon, especially since you were obviously missed a lot here.

I realise i must seem like a petulant child. All melodratic and shit. Well, I can't help that. I'm actually just being honest. As I'm sure Lastleaf was.

It is my firm belief writing should come from the heart. Mine's a little darker I think, than most. Right now I couldn't write a damn thing if I wanted to. All I'm saying is I need to clear my head of the baggage I've picked up. If that's hard to understand, well I can't help that either.

Njae was absoluetly right when he said I misunderstood him. Apologies Njae. It would seem that we do in fact agree with each-other.

This is why I shouldn't write for a while. I'm not in the right frame of mind.

I'm sorry Dru, but I have to disagree with you on this point. As you said you write because you like it, not because of "approval ratings". Misunderstanding a comment is very common mistake and counting it as a good reason for stopping writing isn't a good idea. I think that you should keep writing and see what happens, maybe, just maybe you should get yourself a couple of people to beta-read your stuff and give you some opinions outside from the possible pressure of the forum.

Like Jnw550 I'm a big fan of infinite strength characters so thanks for writing what you write. There's been a shortage of these kinds of stories ever since Xtreme Strength shut down.
I don't take writing or reading these kinds of stories too seriously, so just write what you like to write about.

It occurs to me that I'm being an arse. Fats, and most of the rest of you, have rolled out the red carpet, and I'm staggering about spilling beer all over it.
Apologies to Fats for my bad form.

I encourage any authors out there to get amongst it. Don't be like me, I'm not setting a good example at all. I also encourage any members who haven't posted in the forums to do so. Tell Fats he's doing good here...'cause he is. Just look at the uncouth Aussie noobs he's got put up with....

Mob Girl is in my all time top 10 stories I've read in the ubergirl genre. AAA was pretty good. When I saw you were back I dove right into the thread and read the first chapter. Good to have you back. I too drift in and out of the mood. But not for years at a time.
