That Escalated Quickly

Hi. Posted another quick, self-contained story called 'That Escalated Quickly'.

It was indirectly inspired by discussion of the Saints Row games in this forum.

Warning, if you do not like over-powered ubergirls doing terrible, terrible, terrible things, then this story may not be for you.

Nice ending. Don't want to give it away, but it does end nicely.

I image that people outside our fan base, like most outsiders to any fringe-popular endeavor, would assume that all "supergirl" stories are the same. I love how these last two shorts we've been given blows that idea out of the water. Two supremely powerful individuals. One is a vengeful, hateful goddess of destruction and the other just hopes someone will care about her as the ordinary college student she wants so desperately to be. One a fantasy of the highest order and the other a touching, all-too-human story where the superpowers are almost incidental. I eagerly look forward to new stories here every day, just because I never know what I'm going to get.
