Supergirls reading us their own adventures

Guys, guys, listen.

We all love to read stories about awesome supergirls, yeah?

But wait, what if one of them read her own adventures to us? I mean, wouldn't it be awesome to have a gorgeous supergirl telling us about her fantastic life?

Fuck yeah, I'd say. Yeah, that's what I'd say.

But apparently real life supergirls are not satisfied with having just me as an audience. Bummer.

They need at least a few more people to feel the love they deserve. And you know they deserve it. And I know you want them to have yours.

As much as you crave them laying beside you, putting a hand on your shoulder and arousing you at the sound of their amazing feats, they also revel in spreading the word of their might. They'll have you know that nothing excites a supergirl more than the feeling of her own utter superiority.

But they're also kind of busy, you know. Having to save the world, or to destroy it, leaves little free time.

And that's why we need to pool our resources to have them find time for us.

LFan, thanks to his otherwordly connections worthy of an admin of SWM, managed to get Milena reading us the first chapter of her diary. You can find the recording here !

We could start by asking Milena to read us the other chapters of her diary. Or we could ask a different supergirl, it's up to us.

The big question is: would you like to take part in this project by being ready to invest about $10 per chapter? Different chapters would be funded at different times. The more we are, the less we have to put in.

As of now, LFan and I are in. We need more supporters!

Of course, it's not like supergirls need petty money. That's not the point. Their abilities can easily make them as rich as they like. The point is showing them our appreciation. And if you're ready to spend money for them, they'll know you would really, really love to hear their stories and bask in their irresistible voices.

Because if you don't you shouldn't feel too safe from now on...

I was hoping the would come up again.

Just let me know where to send the money, man. Definately a worthwhile investment.

How to make it happen.

For several projects i have used Lacasting.com. its a website that does casting in Los Angeles. for every project i have ever done-even ones i haven't paid-i have gotten like 100 listings easy. most of these are actors who do like guest spots on TV shows. you can list a project for free.

Backstage.com I have used as well. Good website. To make a listing costs 30 dollars-however you can get slightly bigger names here usually. I have gotten actors with respectable imdb profiles and some stars of indie movies form this-and for one project got like 2000 responses.

its not hard to get actors for litterally free- especially for a couple of hours of work some actors will take it just for the listing on there resume. However if you can offer money better response. Actors you know will work scale.

There is also voiceactingalliance.com/board/forumdispl...uditions-and-Casting which is about casting voice things-its like this message board for that. there are also several voice casting sites i have found, but a lot of that is geared towards comericals.

This kind of approach is kind of go to the wind approach- see what catches. that can be good or bad.

if you want to get specific-like find actress you want and tweet or email her, and see what here going rate is. Some may not respond. some may. Most actors have agents, and agents to a point tend to produce horror stories in hollywood especially for small quirky stuff like this. Actors can vary on how much they depend on there agent, but you litterally never know. I will say that if your asking them to do a kickstarter campaign thats harder-money in the bank is very sure thing. But i generally go on the principal that if you ask 7 people to do something, one of them will say yes.

however as a kickstarter campaign-i would think scale rate for internet is minimum wage. which is about 10 dollars in america. or you can say a day rate for acting in tv which is 700.00 a day I can safely say you can get something like a talent for that kind of moeny-which isn't much. and you could probabbly do like 5 6 chapters in a day easy. You could get a professional studio-which is pricey, but probabbly not necessary.

Sites like indiegogo add like 25% extra which you can't forget. And don't forget things like gifts. Gifts cost.

Like i said i could see you doing this for 100 bucks if you wanted to but find a price.

i went to a presentation about a week ago where i heard the head of indiegogo talk. Set a small goal he advised, set strech goals. if you get over a 100 percent your likely to get some attention.

a couple of months ago I was thinking of converting Mazing girl into a podcast-i kind of put it asside as i have several other projects on my plate, but it does sound fun if you can do it.

Edit: For those working on like videos and things like that. Most of the same applies.
