Hey, everybody! My latest Fleischer Superwoman story, Web of the Spider Lady, is available in the library. This one is based on the first Kirk Alyn Superman serial. I truly hope you all enjoy! :) Also, I already have the next Superwoman story in my head, but I won't get into it right away, since I'm probably going to work on another unrelated ubergirl story.

Really good.

none of the Flietscher Cartoons had any Continuity, or really more then the very Vauge suggestion of Rommance Even the TV show not really.

But you do a great job of making a 40s Superwoman, if that make sence, of a woman who is in delirious slightly imature love with her guy, and how emotions swell and ocasionaly sink in a second with it. You see a lot of performances like this in 40s movies. Theres a Hebpurn quality to her, as her heart is on her sleeve.

And I am not sure if was intended but it was a good to contrast with the moll like Spider Woman, with her kind of emotionless evil is another very kind of 40s woman. It felt like an old fashion gangster story which worked for it. You get the notes right for these kind of tales.

Good work and looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Thanks for the positive review, Castor!

I hadn't thought about Superwoman's conflicting emotions in that way, seeing as how I don't watch as many classic movies as I should, which is a shame since I really like them. Either way, thanks for the insight!

Another good one Dr. M, might have been interesting to have Spider Lady in her mutant form do a bit more fighting with Superwoman but it wasn't really needed. Plenty of great action keep up the awesome work :cheer:
