I'm just glad we don't have bellamy and bowyer with us still

barton, bellamy and bowyer ....with Wise as football manager ....seriously if that isn't in one of them signs of the end of the world, like in all the best doomsday books/devices/episodes of BtVS .....the four of them are The Scumbags of the AS-BOcalypse (as-boc-a-lypse)

Racist (guess who*)
Wanker (Bellamy)
Headcase (Wise)
and Thug (Barton)

With Lee Hendrie on the bench in case Bellamy fakes injury again

*Actually I think I'm being a bit harsh on him...he has reformed a bit....and clearly Dyer is such an imposing figure he felt intimidated...right? and just had to get the first punches in right?

When they go for a night out, who hails the taxi? (Don't answer.)

It's a good line-up. Just add Savage, get Sparky as assistant manager, find a way to involve Souness and you've got one hell of a fantasy football team. Do players get points if they're in jail?

will pool get through?

are Everton destined to finish 4th yet lose out on champions when/if pool win AND take the fourth spot even though they finish lower?

Its gunna happen and you know it, Everton finish 4th and Liverpool win the cup...not that it matters to me as I’m a boro fan and we don't like to watch entertaining football (or so we're led to believe looking at the way they keep playing!)

Would like to think all the English teams will avoid each other in the draw but there no chance of that happening now is there, you can imagine the reaction in the corridors of UEFA head office's right now "Four English teams again quick get the dodge balls out the safe we just can't risk an all English final"

My predictions for the English teams next matches are

Barcelona v Liverpool
Chelsea v Man u
Arsenal v Roma

Leaving you with 3 in the semi's if we're lucky

as for Newcastle there too good to go down (just like Blackburn and Nottingham forest we're) No on a serious note, what keegan is lacking this time is a world class striking partnership, you won't get a partnership like shearer Ferdinand these days, they were top class back in the hay day of keegans first rain. Players of there calibre don't do teams lower than Liverpool.

But dont worry if you do finish in the bottom 3 at the end of the season, you can bet your arse that the FA will decide to deduct the boro enough points to see us drop below you for been bottom of the fair play league as thats just what there like!

I agree on the draw. Really don't expect the top 4 to avoid each other. But then again...I've been wrong before :D

Toon have a tried and tested partnership that did fine for leeds: Smith and the Duke

as for boro ...derby, fulham, Birmingham are far worse than youse so we're both safe
