GO PACK GO!

GO PACK GO! was created by Sarge395
I'm heading to the Green Bay Packer game today!

Should be hovering around 0 degrees F. Hoping it goes negative for a while. Want it to be the 2nd coldest game ever. Ice Bowl II.

Bringing some 'antifreeze' with me. Yeah I know it is not good to drink in the cold but if my Grandfather and my Father did it then it can't be all bad.

Once the Giants are dispatched the Patriots are most likely up next! Who would've thought that a 4-12 team last year would be playing in the NFC Championship this year?

Go PACK!

Cripes yeah! hehe. She could warm me up the following ways:

Heat vision onto my cold metal seat.

Umm, that is all about all I can think of without her getting us into a luxury box. But the view and feel from those is very sterile. Would rather be cold and with the crowd. Best damm fans in football. During last weeks game there were two girls from Seattle a few rows back from us. Every time they went by there was some good natured ribbing. They looked a little underdressed so my Brother asked if they didn't realize where they were going. Turned out one of them had her luggage lost by the airline. So they split up the remaining clothes the other one had. A bunch of us donated hand warmers, an unused hat and even a down vest. Hell it was 30 degrees at that game. All you needed was a sweatshirt and a pair of gloves. 'Fer Pete's Sake'

Well, the Pack simply got out played and out coached. Giants earned that win. Packers only had the ball 1/3 of the game. Running game was stopped cold and Favre was forced to throw risky passes since the receivers were mostly covered. It was COLD. My beer froze in my hand.

Sorry bout that, Sarge! Still kudos to you and the faithful for braving the "third coldest game in history"....

Great game (coming from an outsider), and I was rooting for the Pack. I think the Pack had a better shot at knocking off the Pats, but is a moot point now....

Agree with your statement about the fan-base. Incredible how they traveled to Miami 2 years ago -- so many RVs they overflowed the RV lot (never saw that before). Also, some of the best traditions in sports (Lambeau leap, the training camp bike parade, etc.)

As a 'Fin fan, I hold hopes for a breakout / turnaround season like you had this year -- bleh! In two weeks, we'll all be undefeated once again and tied for first once again...

Peace and coldolences

Sorry about the loss Sarge. I was rooting for them.

My brother is a hard core Pack fan also and I had to call his wife after the game to make sure he kept away from any sharp objects for the next few days. He was really taking it hard. He thought a home game on the frozen tundra in sub-zero temperatures was a lock. Turned out he was wrong.

Oh, and going from 4-12 to the SB is not unheard of. My Rams did it in 1999. We stunk it up at 4-12 in 1998 but won SB 34 the very next year. Hopefully we can turn it around next year also...

I try to pass it all off as a young team with some coaching mistakes, a lack of hunger when they needed it, poor punting, no running game, etc. I try to just say it is just a game and not important to my well being but dammit all I could not sleep much afterwards. Kept dreaming of that last throw by Favre. What a way to end a Cinderalla season. Yeah it takes a team to win a game but everyone remembers the last crucial play.

Just suck it up I guess and I will be rooting for the Giants to win this Superbowl.
