Meh, people are assholes, and the subway is a high stress local where everyone just wants to chill and read a book not have some chick dancing for feminism or whatever. But that woman isn't even that fat, surprised she qualifies as plus model

Definitely staged. And the passengers looked bored by her lecture, although you'd have thought the eyes of the men would have been glued to her body. Sounds as if one of them whistled at her, but (on camera, at least) I guess they were couth enough not to actually proposition her.

Fat shaming? How about moron shaming? Because the irony of a professional model trying to tell me I need to be more open-minded about beauty pretty much pegs my "you're a dipshit" meter. Someone who makes their living off of our boorish notions of beauty ain't a real powerful voice for changing those notions.

Or maybe we could just have a cold, sharp breath of reality that no more than 10% will ever be in the top 10%... BY DEFINTION. People are not all beautiful. Stop thinking you're supposed to be or entitled to be. Maybe quit hanging your sense of self worth on a hook You. Don't. HAVE. And quit trying to drag the bar down just because little Timmy feels bad he didn't win a trophy.
