Wondra's character description includes superhuman strength but the trailer shows her getting her ass kicked multiple times and then subdued in chains. Unless the trailer excludes moments where she exhibits superhuman strength and subdues/overwhelms the bad guys, I can only pray she doesn't need to be rescued, then Wondra really isn't a super hero. She's a hot cosplay chick in peril.

Hopefully Supernova won't be what appears to be that of Wondra, a chick wearing a superhero costume in peril.

Well, we can't show everything in the trailer, but Wondra certainly shows she's no cosplay gal in the first minute of the video, when she easily subdues a serial killer intent on taking another victim. It is when Master Mace intercedes that she learns that she's not the only person with super strength and stamina. Master Mace is not your average run-of-the-mill villain... plus he has a few extra tricks up his sleeve, such as mind control. Hopefully, an adventurous member will take the plunge for $9.99 and report back with his or her impressions of the full video.

Sure. Here Wondra is easily disarming... actually strong arming... the serial killer.

The trailer makes this a hard purchase for people drawn to this site. "Wondra certainly shows she's no cosplay gal in the first minute of the video" - but it's a 24 minute video. Based on the trailer, it looks like she spends most of the remaining 23 minutes getting beaten up, passed out, subdued or bound. In short, the trailer looks like a typical peril film - which I don't think appeals to the tastes of most people on this site. If it's really not a peril film and if that's not how you intended to portray it, you might consider cutting another trailer that features more of the heroic and empowered content, if there is any beyond the film's first minute. Based on the current trailer, I have to pass. But I'll be happy to be proven wrong!

I understand your caution, since there is a Peril version of this video; however, Wondra does put up a good fight in the first part of the video where she faces off against the powerful Master Mace. Then, although she is captured, she is released to be beaten by an evil superwoman enhanced with her own blood, but defeats this superwoman in a see saw battle. Finally, although brain-washed by Mace, she fights off the mind control, takes on Mace again and ends up being victorious! So, there's much more to this video than a simple beatdown that the heroine survives. This was originally 3 Peril videos that was combined into one video with a huge amount of Peril items removed or greatly shortened, so that we have a full storyline showing Wondra's indomitable spirit.in the face of challenging circumstances.
Hopefully, someone here will bite the bullet, buy the video, and post a review on this thread.

I specifically remember this video, I have had it for years. Or better, two videos that have most of these scenes in them. I like them, it is peril stuff which I am not a big fan of, but good looking women in good looking costumes will usually get my attention.

Whether I end up buying the film or not, whether I like it or not, I do appreciate that you've taken the time to let us know about the film, to respond to questions and comments about it and to engage in a civil discourse.  There's too little of that last thing going on in the world these days!

That's why I love these forums. You really get to know people and exchange ideas with fellow enthusiasts. I've been a comics fan most of my life, and enjoy finally being able to expand into the mainstream superheroine world where I can relive some of the wonder that I enjoyed as a comic-reading kid. Beautiful women, tight costumes, super powers... what could be more intoxicating?

I think I missed answering a question about my relationship to the Silk 'N Blood store. That is my fetish oriented store, where I sell Extreme and Peril versions of my videos for those markets. The Superheroine Fans store is for the mainstream versions, which I will be releasing on a regular basis for the market that those here have been demanding for years. It's just that the sales at Superheroine Fans is not yet sufficient to make it self-supporting on its own. Right now, it is being subsidized by my other store, until the word gets out that these upscale productions are now available to the general public.

Hi All,

Just as an update, we have now added two more videos to the SuperheroineFans.com site, being: "Supernova: Saviour From The Stars" and "Darkwing: Vivacious Vigilante". Supernova is introduced in the first video, and Darkwing in the second video, but also in the Darkwing video is an appearance of Supernova, resulting in the Supergirlesque and Batgirlesque characters fighting one another, the girl scout heroine trying to bring in the bad girl vigilante. Once again, these videos are the longer, less expensive mainstream versions of these two characters.
