Cursed?

Normally girls that acquire powers do so willingly, actively searching out or volunteering. What if a girl was ‘cursed’ with powers? Someone who wants to live a quiet, possibly simple life, but receiving powers unwillingly upends all that?

Can’t hide in a crowd, is now very attractive, and having a very well endowed athletic body.
Not pleased about the ‘vacuum sealed’ costume that leaves little to the imagination.
Can’t be alone, super hearing and vision take effort to keep around ‘normal’ levels.
Fearful of physical interactions based on the ridiculous ease that steel crumples at her touch.

I tried to think of how to frame it- not hateful of people, but would rather not want to have the cornucopia of abilities.

There was a story on Xstreme Strength like that: the woman is so strong she can't help destroying everything, is also superhumanly beautiful, starved for affection and sex but can't touch anyone without killing them, definitely doesn't want to hurt anyone, and a man is given the job of working with her to control her abilities, and try not to die in the process.  Can't find it though.  Anyone remember?

Funnaly enough I was reading that story a few days ago! It's called Tammi, here's a link  www.thevalkyrie.com/~xtreme/stories/othr...ean_porter/tammi.htm.

There was an indie cartoon strip from the pre-internet 1990s (printed) about a similar thing.  A bookish, short, frumpy, bank clerk is basically forced into accepting superhuman powers.  She powers -up with a magic word Shazam style. In her superhuman guise she is built like Power Girl but with an almost non-existent costume of boots, a Viking helmet, and not much else. But her personality doesn’t change at all and she gains no experience in combat or using her powers.  From my recollection half the time she never even makes it to fight the criminal such are the problems this and her body cause  Other times she manages to barely catch the bad guys with much collateral damage and then has all kinds of issues getting away quickly to have privacy to change back. A mix of transformation excitement, slapstick comedy, and what you are talking about. I could never find it online unfortunately. It was probably never posted.
