Hello everyone! Since it's going to be about a month before we launch the first episode of Heroineburgh Season Two (Episode 14),
here is a way to wrap Season One in a wonderful bow, while giving you a chance to check out whatever exciting action and plots you 
may have missed, since all 13 episodes of Season One are available on our site from the Video Store at  www.heroineburgh.com .

We spent a couple days editing a nice 10-minute montage of every single superheroine and supervillainess costume transformation from
Season One. Of course, you know how much we love a good superpowered transformation, but beyond that, we wanted to properly
recognize and thank all of our amazing actresses who were dedicated and talented in portraying the main characters of the Heroineburgh Universe. In addition, it gives us a chance to give more attribution to the great local musicians who provided some of the soundtracks to the episodes - some of the actresses are also in the bands you are hearing - and of course the catchy Heroineburgh theme song.

So this is a nice New Year's Card / Valentine to all of them, as well as to all of our loyal customers and fans across the world in at least a dozen countries by last count. Kudos to everyone involved!

Hi! Sorry, haven't been on this forum for more than a month but I'm back now, and happy to answer your question.

At the end of the video, there's a list of the local Pittsburgh bands who contributed songs to the Transformation Montage. Most of these bands contain at least one of the actresses who play heroines or villains in the series.

The shoegaze band you mentioned is Action Camp. Maura (who plays the superheroine Etherea) is the singer and bassist in that band. A lot of what Action Camp plays is actually more dark surf-rock, postpunk or indie rock than it is shoegaze. We picked that Action Camp song originally for Episode 7 which featured the "goth" heroines who formed the Dark Dominion, and Etherea was one of them (she represents the 'ethereal' side of goth, like Cocteau Twins). When Etherea enters the club in a cloud of smoke, that song plays. Good ear!
