They do have girl power stuff anyway. Infact, when I posted that Super vs Evil video with two Supergirls fighting on the other thread, I think more than 50% of their selling came from people in here LOL

Okay--Its true, one shouldn't really critique something low budget-

But actually one of the things that is impressive about this is the production values. This looks competently made-the editing is very good, the special effects from what i can see are for what they are fine. I like look of it-its obviously done on a good HD(fats can probabbly tell you which), and the locations-production design looks atmpospheric as do the costumes. I have seen a lot worse. I have seen worse in movie theaters.

So.....

These seem to be 20 or so minute videos of girls punching each other. Ocasionally punching guys. A lot of emphasis on the belly. Ocasionally mixed with other fetish stuff. This is not my fetish kind of stuff, and while i share Shadar critique that Cloriform is kind of creepy, this is just a fantasy movie. And the line..."well i wish instead of your kind of fetish you did mine"..welll thats not fair. I mean i don't like say gay porn- but i am not going to stop gay people from doing it.

But the ambition in this is palatable. Which is makes it kind of sad. i am thinking lke the Cult Retro Videos-which in general have a lot less production values, but do have genuine heart to them. A sense of character and of trying to tell a story. I think of the Movie Spiderbabe the 2002 softcore porn parody of Spiderman-which isn terrible porn-but legitimately a lot funnier then it has any right to be. I think a lot of the videos on the site.

And there isn't a perfect response to it-i guess i just wish this talent did something better. I have talked with some of the filmmakers about doing actual feature films- which i think they could-i would say that about Logan here. The talent that does the production design on this project could do something you would see in the video store at the very least. There is something.

But this does look ugly to me. Even the name Spoiled confidence has the aura less of heroines-protecting then women having something taken from them. Confidence right? people(especially woman) shouldn't be confident. There is the aura in most of the videos of the Haughty made low, which is something i guess-just it seems hateful. I can respect stuff like BSDM,becuse there it is mostly done under the guise of consenual- i can even respect something like the thousand days of Sodm, as there is a point. but here-Its almost the idea of superheros, and costumes and that as kind of short hand for something good and noble-that makes it worse--and i don't care almost that sometimes the heroes 'win'. Theres something kind of creepy and degrading just by existing.

Not really sure what to say to most of what was posted here... this is the first forum I've posted on that I have gotten a generally "negative" vibe in feedback from... We create mostly peril films, yes. Girl power has been skewed in translation to me so I do know that some GP fans consider females fighting other females as one of them having Girl Power-- so I posted this video.

As for making feature films... I do. As well as TV Pilots, web series, conceptual pitches, industrials, and other types of media.

I guess the only thing I can really say, is that regardless of the "fetish", we create films for the audiences that ask for them. We have, as of today, filmed 194 Superheroine-based films/episodes. There are continuing stories embedded in some and not in others. About 85% of the films we have shot are custom orders so sometimes it fits and sometimes it doesn't. There's always some sort of context in the films though - whether they link together with another film is dependent on what the buyer is requesting and if that's possible.

Anyway, we've gotten quite a few followers and purchases/referrals from this site, so for those of you who welcomed us here, thank you very much!
