I'm not admin, so it's not my call, but he's generally talking about people who create an account here for the sole purpose of posting a link, and then disappear. The fact that you asked this question, and even participated in a couple of other conversations on these forums already, means that you're already more of a contributing member than the people who have gotten themselves banned quickly in the past.

Also, what kind of site do you write for? There seems to be two kinds of superheroine sites out there: those where the women are the ones with the power and those where women in superheroine costumes are tied down and raped. The latter type is unpopular with this group.

The whole point of the superwoman genre for many of us is that the women have all the power, so turning them into victims is the exact opposite of what we want to see. I'm not sure if that's what admin meant by "off-topic", but that sort of thing will get you flamed very quickly here. Personally, I don't care if that's the type of site you have. I won't visit that type of site, but I won't get mad at you for it like some of the participants here, either.

Let me first say thank you for responding to my query so quickly. The site that I write for has a wide variety of 'tastes' on it. They range from cheesecake-style pinups of original and mainstream characters to full length comics depicting super powered women in perilous situations, usually in conflict with some sort of super villain. I'll be honest up front and say that there is a fair amount of sexual activity, making the site a definite adults-only venue. Not all of our comics portray the heroines erotically, but many do. Most of the stories deal with a heroine being captured by a typical comic book villain and show her struggle to work her way out of the predicament, perhaps reminiscent of the old 60s Batman TV show. There is plenty of light bondage and the threat of harm but the heroine generally comes out smelling like roses in the end. We even have a policy of not using the 'r---' word or any of its synonyms in order to try and differentiate ourselves from other sites that show the types of scenes that you mentioned above. I for one have never used that word in any of my comics, and I never will. I think it is possible to portray a strong woman in a sexual light without resorting to tired old cliches.

Anyway, off the top of my head I can't recall many instances where the heroine doesn't come out victorious in her encounter with the villain. She just may have to go through a great ordeal and endure some hardships to secure that victory and bring her adversary to justice. Does that description fit in at all with the theme of this site?
